It works fine.

Wer die Standard-D1-Bänder von Dymo kennt, weiß, dass sie für glatte Oberflächen und Ordner im Büro super sind. Sobald es aber in die Werkstatt, den Keller oder in den Außenbereich geht, stoßen sie an ihre Grenzen. Genau hier springt dieses Hochleistungs-Etikettenband (Vinyl) in der 12-mm-Version ein. Klebkraft & Untergründe: Der Unterschied zum normalen Band ist sofort spürbar. Der Klebstoff ist deutlich aggressiver. Ich habe damit strukturierte Kunststoffboxen, leicht raue Metallregale und sogar Kabel beschriftet (als Fahne gewickelt). Wo sich die Standardbänder nach ein paar Tagen an den Ecken einrollen, sitzt dieses Band auch nach Wochen noch absolut计划 und fest. Beständigkeit & Material: Das Material ist spürbar flexibler und dicker als die Papier- oder Standard-Plastikbänder. Es macht einen extrem robusten Eindruck. Wasser, Feuchtigkeit im Keller oder auch mal ein Spritzer Reinigungsmittel machen dem Druck und dem Kleber bisher überhaupt nichts aus. Das Schriftbild (schwarz auf weiß) ist gewohnt scharf und kontrastreich. Handhabung: Das Band lässt sich ohne Probleme in den Dymo-Geräten (z. B. LabelManager) bedrucken und sauber schneiden. Die Rückseite ist wie gewohnt in der Mitte geschlitzt, sodass man die Schutzfolie trotz des starken Klebers leicht abziehen kann. Fazit: Ja, die Hochleistungs-Bänder sind etwas teurer als die Standardausführung, aber jeden Cent wert, wenn die Beschriftung dauerhaft halten muss. Man spart sich das doppelte Kleben. Für den professionellen Einsatz, Werkzeugbeschriftungen oder den Außenbereich eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Way better than the standard label tape. Sticks much more firmly and doesn't come off. Worthwhile upgrade to the label maker. I find myself using it in more situations than if I had the standard tape.

Using with a Dymo Labelmanager 160 and these are much more useful and what I would expect from a labeler. I use the labeler on all sorts of things in the garage and around the house. On my RC pit box the original style labels would eventually peel off even with careful surface prep. These new labels actually have a very good adhesive and are a different material completely. They are a more flat/eggshell white vs the glossy/flimsy original. I can’t say how durable they are yet but I expect them to last much better. I use Dymo industrial labelers at work and this material seems to be the same as what those use. One thing I noticed is this cartridge comes with 18ft of tape vs 23ft on the standard. Maybe because it’s thicker and the cartridge volume is the limiting factor, or... profit margins for the higher quality tape required giving the consumer less per package?
