Because a neck is supported in supporters, it is comfortable! You may assume it a neck warmer in winter. The effect is different by individual difference such as the form of the neck. Please stop use by any chance when I feel it to be hot, and the skin has a sense of incongruity. Review: The BEST neck warmer ever! - LOVE LOVE LOVE this neck warmer! At least that's what I use it for! I have to wrap my neck/throat while I sleep or I will have irritation in my throat in a few days. I actually wear it backwards from what you see in the picture. I love it because it's thin but keeps the warmth in perfectly! There are little infared beads on the inside that work quite well. On days when it's cold outside I wrap this under the neck portion of my turtleneck and WOW! No need for a scarf that's long, bulky and always falling off! So, it's very comfortable to sleep in and works awesomely in cold weather. Enjoy it!
