After a remodel we changed the style of hardware and I wanted to change the locks as we had a great many reconstruction people in the house with keyed access. I bought this for the garage entry into the house and it is very well made and virtually indestructible and looks great. You get a real solid feel when you grasp the handle to open the door, unlike other more flimsy models that I tested at the hardware store. I didn't like any of them. I am thinking of buying another as continue to change hardware throughout the house.

I purchased one to test and then purchased and installed six more of these door handles in August 2020 - lever and deadbolt, bathroom/bedroom and passage levers. The product looks terrific and I have not had any problems whatsoever. The push of the lever is solid and feels as if it is a high end, sturdy product. I feel that is of great value / quality compared to the well known brand that it replaced. I have not had any problem with the finish despite heavier than usual usage during the quarantine. For the installation, just be sure to read all the way through and then follow the instructions. I did not have any problems.

I purchased three locks/deadlocks in May and June this year and after a few months they are all loose/broken. Yes, I know how to install a door lock properly. I should have returned them straight away but I was desperate to replace the locks on my home. The screws are short and flimsy and that was a telltale sign right there that the locks would fail and be loose after a short time. I have contacted Amazon and they referred me to the company website but it's just an email form, there's no real support options on there. Update: after some back and forth, Amazon finally gave me a refund even though they didn’t have to - it should have been the company as it fell under their warranty. They’re nice looking locks but complete junk. Find something elsewhere.
