Thin!
If you're looking for the thinnest possible aluminum tape like I was, this is the tape for you. Very sticky and easy to apply.

works okay but it is a little thin
The tape is well made as it is discripted, but it is little thin. So depends on what you use it for, it is not for heavy duty.

Great tape
This tape works very well, I've bought it more than once. It sticks to the RV and holds up the skirting but it doesn't leave a residue when removed?

Good adhesion, VERY wide size, seems a bit thin
Be sure you want this width when buying this tape. As always with adhesive-backed aluminum tape - the aggravation experienced initially is in “peeling back” the starting point by which to seperate and remove the adhesive backing from the aluminum. Once you get past that - manuvering the tape section planned for your desired placement without it bonding “crookedly” - or to itself - is a bit of a fidldly challenge. Tape having this larger width obviously increases that challenge - and so that effort must be weighed against the advantage of its larger size requiring fewer wraps or required strips to cover the item being worked on. This is a fair sized roll of considerable length, but its thickness seemed thin - when I compared it to another roll of aluminum tape I also had in my tool kit, (a roll having lesser width). But I did not compare the two tape thicknesses side-by-side with calipers or another measuring instrument - so this suspicion may not be fact. The tape performed the task I was using it for just fine. If you are considering purchasing it - and sure of your need of such width - then I do recommend it as a good product for sale at its current pricepoint.

Repair
I live and cruise on a 40 Ft SAIL BOAT and use this tape for temporary repairs. For instance, last time I sailed to the Caribbean We broke the plexiglass on the forward hatch. I used the tape as a temporary repair and it did the job.

Width is great; way too thin (1mil?)
This tape is way so thin - don't sneeze. I have normally used 2" foil tape (typically 3+mil) from other suppliers for ducts on ACs and heating, but also to attach loose wiring to ducts to prevent mice from chewing on the wiring. This foil tape is just too thin for me to even consider it for any serious application, except to make something look nice. More specifically, I used this 4" tape because the 2" foil tape I have would not cover a 2" gap on the outside of my stucco house at ground level. I just finished taping up this gap. Not sure if it will prevent mice from getting through because it is so thin. Bugs and other critters should not be a problem. It seems sticky enough to stay attached in the heat and monsoon season. I would rather tape two 3" foil tapes (at least 3+mil) together side-by-side to get 4" or 5" width than use this product. Wish I had a better experience and that the company would have mentioned actual thickness in the description of their product. Not recommended for commercial applications.
