Fundamentals of Abnormal Psychology

I expected it the book to be used, however I didn't expect there to be used/rental stickers all over it, covering a significant amount of the cover. I'll take a hair dryer to the stickers to see if I can get them off without tearing the cover, but when buying it, I expected "used, normal wear" to only be normal wear not bold statements that its used and previously rented on all sides of the cover. I purchased used textbooks in much better condition for cheaper from other sellers and will most likely not use this seller again if I'm able to avoid it.

Usually my professors pick some crappy books, this was not one of them, however! I really enjoyed reading through this book for my class. It's easy to read and the visuals used to further explain the information put this book in the category of the best of the best. I would buy this and read it just for fun. In fact, I'm going to buy it for my grandmother for those reasons because she loves learning by reading text books. Not sure I've ever enjoyed a text book this much!The book I received was obviously used, and marked up, but I did expect that upon purchase because I was trying to save money, so I don't have any complaints.

This book was just what I needed and what I expected. I knew the book was not brand new and used before I received it, so it was not of any surprised that the book is somewhat tattered and has a few pages hanging off or falling out. The book is in good enough condition to read and take notes for my class, and the important concepts of the book stick out so that it is easier to tell what you should take notes on. Always helps me get good scores on the online tests (which this book does not come with the access pass, as disclosed in the description). Really great indepth book if you need to know the basics of abnormal psychology.

I am renting this book for my collage classes and have found it to be really informative. The book was obviously used ( cause I rented it used) Usually textbooks tend to be boring and dry making one want to bang ones head against this wall--using this I can instead diagnose the underlying issues that may have caused me to desire to do such an act.In all seriousness though--it is a good textbook. It is informative, concise, and presents many interesting theories.

I like this book because it's informative, easy to read, and it has lots of diagrams and pictures to look at. Every chapter begins with a case study from a person with the disorder that chapter is going to talk about. At the end of each chapter is a page or two with key words to know and small quizzes to take to really help absorb the information. This book is different from the Psychology 101 book I bought in the sense that unlike Psych 101, which has small quizzes at the end of each section, this book includes a summary of what you were just reading. This book was overpriced when I bought, but it is a really good book to own. I recommend it.

Great condition overall, but a few of the pages were halfway disconnected from the book, and some of them came completely out. It was a little bit disappointing, given the product description didn't include this.But besides that, this book is full of great information that is interesting to read about. I thought I would return it after my psych class ended, but I think I'm going to hold onto it.

I bought this book because it is an earlier edition of the one required by my class and I could get it for a significantly reduced cost with very little content change. I have really liked the textbook, probably because I really enjoy the class that I'm reading it for. I ordered mine with a little damage for a better price and it is definitely readable and there isn't a lot of limiting damage. It is laid out in chapters and not modules, if anyone is wondering.

The book was in great shape. Anf very informative

This is an excellent academic recourse for any student on a psychology program. It is a recommended test by tutors and viewing it I can see why. It holds a wealth of information on the cognitive, social and biological aspects of abnormal personalities. It works very well with the DSM 5 and will last throughout a students academic career. I have used this since my foundation year and have just updated it to the newest format.

Useful even after uni.
