can it be used on laminate floors?

This blade will cut laminate but it is not made for it.

How long do these blades last?

Have been using one for years and cut through pleanty of different wood including plywood and mdf, and plastic/rubber. Still cuts as good as new and cuts through a 4x4 in about 2 seconds. My blade is paired up with a dewalt DW708 and this seems like a strong combination.

I carefully compared this blade to the Freud Industrial equivalent which is 11 3/4 in diameter, 15 degree tooth angle and a slightly narrower kerf at .094”.
