Efficient. Don't forget to put hot water into the bowl to ensures efficient and quicker heating. I suggest to also pour or submerged the sake bottle in warm water before pouring in the sake to speed up the heating and to reduce the risk of temperature shock. Ideal for single or double servings. Used it three times so far. Only used it to warm up sake -not for keeping it chill. A great gift idea. Looks cute. Comes with a convenient storage bag. I paid 60$CAD and I think it's a decent price.

So it's worked for me alright, I saw a lot of reviews about it cracking and I think that's likely due to it being relatively thin and weak. It DOES work for me just fine, but I pour my boiling water in very slowly so it doesn't temperature-shock the material and I think thats why it's working fine for me. It's a nice little thing, but I just gotta say be very careful with it. Also not very big so better for a solo-hang, if you got a guest it's likely to run out quickly.
