Every household needs batteries. Nothing is more annoying than to buy batteries and then they run out of juice in a few days. A lot of the knock off brands do this. Energizer is a little pricer but you are getting good value for your purchase. The batteries do last a while. I use them in our remotes for our TVs and all devices that make our TVs smart TVs. I also use them in our kids toys. They are constantly holding down the buttons and they still last a long time. I would rather spend the couple extra dollars and get the name brand battery than to spend less and have to buy double or triple the amount of packages. Bigger upfront cost, less later. You're definitely getting a great value. The packaging itself doesn't bother me on how it looks and whether it stores well or not because I transfer all my batteries to a fireproof battery case, but I do like that its not hard to open. Some of the battery packages are so difficult that you have to get a scissor and put effort to get it open. Overall, love the quality of these batteries!
