Compatible with an old Tomy set we have.
We have a 30 year old Tomy train set that our kids loved so we pulled it out of storage for our grandkids. The grandkids enjoyed it but several pieces of track had cracked during years of storage making it more fragile to play with. This track set is compatible with the old set and will fix that problem. In addition, it will allow us more different layouts.

Expensive but enjoyable
Plarail is one of the best designed train play sets at the mid level and works really really well. It is expensive and isnt widely available outside japan but I love the set even as an adult
