Found tape that I don't hate
I recently bought this Teflon tape with my new luxury shower head 6 Function Adjustable Luxury Shower Head - High Pressure Boosting, Wall Mount, Bathroom Showerhead For Low Flow Showers - Chrome . Both the tape and shower head stand up to the test and perform very well. Here are the things I hate about Teflon tapes. I hate it when they are very thin, when they are very narrow, when the quality is cheap, when it does not stick when you use it to wrap around threads, does not hold up, the plastic wheel is thin, when the roll is very small for the price, and falls apart immediately. I have encountered all of these issues especially that I buy most of my stuff online. Sometimes I can't even return it. You can't use a lot if the Teflon tape you bought is of good quality. It will last long. But if the quality is cheap it's a waste of time, money and effort. What I hate the most is when I do not know I purchased a bad one and I kept it for future use and I only find out about it when I am in dire need of it. That's very frustrating! So when I found this Teflon tape and tried it, I immediately ordered 3 more just to make sure I have enough of this handy babies. I always want to keep some in storage because me and my husband likes to use it to seal a lot of things like changing shower heads, fixing a kitchen sink, sealing a connection between faucet and filter, toilet connection, and fixing any type of leaks that require Teflon tapes. This Teflon tape is really well made. It came in a nice round sturdy plastic case that protects it from getting dirty. It does not break easily. It's economical to use because I don't have to undo seals except when installing the first time or changing parts. This is also thick and wide so you don’t need to use more wraps. With just 2-3 wraps I can easily get a leak-free connection. It does not fall apart right away. It is very useful around the house. . Really worth it!

Excellent tape for faucets
I have been so frustrated by the tape that I had (some came with new faucets). I read a review and a person recommended this tape, so I thought that I would try it. 1. This tape actually has strength and weight to it (vs type that is paper thin and tears and folds over on itself) 2. I cue t a piece of this tape and then wrapped it on the fixture and it went on without rolling on itself. 3. This tape is the first tape I have used that works! I have no leaks at all. 4. If I ever need more of this tape, this brand is the only one I will buy.!

The best teflon tape I have ever used
Pros: The tape is thick - it is not falling apart when you wrapping it over the thread, especially when the thread's edges are pretty sharp. The sealing is very good - haven't seen a drop leaking from the connection. I sealed my kitchen sink and shower head a week ago and both are nice and dry. The tape is long 119 feet - it is more than enough to seal every pipe connection in my home. The tape is universal - suitable for connection of different materials plastic, steel, brass, etc. The sealing between plastic and steel in my shower head is great. The tape is not slipping on wrapping - didn't have any issue with it. The sealing process was smooth and easy. Cons: Haven't noticed so far.

Roll diameter too large to hold well in one hand and apply
The tape itself is fine; is a thick PTFE tape for plumbing purposes. However, the roll is simply too large in diameter to firmly hold in one hand while wrapping threads tightly in a fixture you're holding with your other hand. And my hand spread is larger than average I reckon (long fingers; am a 6' 2" guy). I'll finish off this tape but just only for threads attached to fixed plumbing and where I'm not using one hand to hold the fixture and the other the tape. Going forward, I'll stick to more conventional, smaller diameter rolls.

The best, hands down.
This Teflon tape is about twice as thick as normal Teflon tape. It works great. It's a high quality tape, you won't regret your purchase, 5/5!

I like this stuff.
Nice and thick. Plenty per roll. It seals very well. I like the way it changes from light to dark after it's been assembled and compressed. All the layers actually seem to combine into one. It's really good for air fittings, or other applications where you might be disassembling them frequently. It's easier to remove than the thin cheap stuff because it stays together. A few strokes with a wire brush and then pull it off nice and clean. Not a million billion little hairs everywhere. On the female threads, a few seconds with a sharp pick will get it right out.
