I've had this garlic press for over a year and love it. It doesn't rust, is very sturdy and has a great design which makes crushing garlic a relatively easy chore and cleaning afterwards a breeze. And the little crushing compartment is larger than my old style press (which disappeared in a move : ( I highly recommend this!

I have owned many garlic presses over the years. I had always been frustrated by how difficult they were to clean, by how the angle of the grate against the pressing surface resulted in poor extrusion, or just by how fragile they were based on their construction of plastic materials and poorly-secured grips. My landlord had one in this style that I borrowed one night. Within the next 2 days, I purchased one of this style for my own.

I previously had an oxo that isn't made anymore. I very much liked that it was just two pieces and not hard to clean. I was hesitant to move forward to this style. That being said it works well, easy to clean and not a nice job. You can't shove too many cloves in there but normally that's not an issue. I can't say the handle it my favorite but it does have some ergonomic thought to it. It's working well and looks better than most I researched. Overall happy with it.

This Garlic press has become my go to when a recipe calls for garlic menaced thinly! Also found it works great with ginger root. No need to peal either ginger root or garlic.

This garlic press is great quality. The stainless steel is thick and it’s not wonky when pressing a lot with skin.

This was the best garlic press I ever owned, right up to the moment it broke. This press replaced one that I owned for more than 10 years. that previous press was hard plastic with metal press parts, this was all metal. Great I thought, it will be even more durable. Nope, the press broke in less than 6 months, though it produced beautifully for that 6 months. I used this around twice a week.

Lots easier on the grip strength needed. As a senior citizen. I have struggled on grip strength with conventional garlic presses. This new garlic press is doable and my wife can use it too with the pain. Really well engineered and easy to use. I love it!

Truly the mother of all garlic crushers. It has some grunt. It is strong in construction (stainless steel is always a plus) and manufactured well - i.e. no loose parts or joints. More importantly, it gets the job done! I wouldn't say it takes less strength to crush the garlic, (how would I measure that anyway) but it feels like a strong tool to be using. The feel of the grip feel natural is also pleasing. It's advertised as easy to clean. It's easier, but not easy. Even with the liftable section, you still have to brush the debris out, and the small brush that came with the apparatus leaves much to be desired on that count. It is also far more expensive (3 - 4 X the price - possibly more depending on which crushers you are comparing) than the average garlic crusher, but I'm sure be of stainless steel construction will outlive most of them by a long way. Overall though, I'm delighted with the product.

I've had this garlic press for four months now and am amazed at how good it actually is. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a new garlic press. My previous garlic press broke at the hinge one day and I bought this press as a replacement. This press is much better than any press I have owned before. It is solid construction and easily presses garlic. The mechanism is also very easy to clean. I still peel the garlic by hand first although this press can handle garlic cloves with the skin still on. The garlic press uses all of the clove and there is hardly any waste. Overall, I'm impressed with this garlic press and am very happy with my purchase, I think it will last me many years.

If you are looking to purchase a professional grade, high performance (easy to use) press this is for you. Don't be put off by the price. It's an investment that will last a lifetime . You will never regret buying it. It is easily the best press I have used. Period. 1) It design allows for minimal effort to perform the task 2) It cleans exceptionally easy due to it's three component design 3) High quality stainless steel construction. 4) The basket size is generous and the "cutting" holes are sharp. Garlic presses through easily Forget the cheap cast versions, they're junk by comparison

Works good and easy to clean. just the chamber in the pictures looks bigger than actual size. It’s only .75”x1.25”. That’s the only critique I have is that the chamber should be bigger.
