Will the work on polyurathane foam?

It depends. This won't work on closed-cell foam but can potentially be used for open-cell foam. We encourage you to do some tests to determine the best method of treatment.

If I treat a 4x8 sheet of 1/2 inch plywood and use it as a wind block for my outdoor fire pit and bring the plywood in after each use. Will it work?

Potentially this could work but it will not prevent your plywood from charring or the flame retardant from activating if it gets too hot/too close to flames. Hope that helps!
