Will these work for a 1/2" frame?

I wish I could answer this particular question. The smallest they say they go to is 1", but perhaps taping it to make it smaller would work. I use on 1.5" depth and they are a saver of frames when traveling or storing, for sure!

I believe these are meant to cover the corners of frames and if you have your artwork covered in glass the paper should not touch your artwork. Add this quantity and price I doubt that they are acid free. They are well cut easily made into a corner and fit well. They really served my purpose well when I moved a lot of framed artwork I would buy again

No. They can be adjusted for different frame thickness. I think from 1/2" to 1" . Anyway they work well on most frames.
