MG Womens Straw Outback Toyo Cowboy Hat, Pink

First off, I do not like cowboy hats. Or anything western. I bought this because I was staying at a themed ranch-house for a friend's birthday weekend and I wanted to be participatory. I figured I could throw it away after. So, shocker: it looked awesome on me, I wore it non-stop all weekend, and everyone commented that my hat was legitimately cute. Now I feel like wearing it the rest of the summer. Or however long it lasts (it's not the sturdiest hat in the world.) Yeehaw.

Purchased and wore this to a western-themed VBS. Lived in TX 3 years and never owned or wore a cowboy hat! This fit great and looked exactly as the photo online. My son also liked it and also wore it. Since the temperatures were in the low 90's, this hat was a wonderful selection for the hot weather. I would consider the color to be a toffee or caramel-natural color.

For under $20 this is the perfect lightweight summer cowboy hat. It looks exactly like the picture. I got the white one with the purple and silver beads. It arrived in the correct size box and was not crushed. The tag says it's 100% paper and made in CHINA. The brim has a wire in it and it is shapeable but mine came perfectly shaped already.I have a large head and wear a cowboy hat size of 7 1/4 (My head measures a smidge over 22.5"). This hat fit me loosely out of the box because the elastic that was sewn inside the brim was not sewn in with any tension on it at all. I fixed the fit by simply hand sewing three loops into the elastic to take up the slack and make the band fit tighter. (See pictures, I used black thread)

These hats arrived in a total mess....just smashed in a box. I was so amazed, despite what other reviewers had written I expected the sellers to change their ways! However, I do like them, and I have them stacked and regaining their form.I'm taking a couple friends on a surprise horse back ride, and wanted something for all of us to wear for fun, and then a week later we are all going to participate in a a cancer walk and these hats will be perfect for that.I think if the seller could package them better the consumers would be a lot happier. It's a drag to get something brand new and have to work on it right away.I am glad I bought these because they fit my husband and me perfectly...and we have very different shaped heads. Also the 'straw' is very light and cool. I tend to have a very hot head (and a temper..haha), so I can only wear light hats.If you decide to buy these, just know they might come smashed, but that with a little work you can reshape them.

I've had this exact hat for several years and LOVE it. Great for the summertime as it's lightweight, breathable and offers great protection for my face and neck. However since my hat is several years old, its getting a bit stretched out so I ordered a new one. The new one was shipped in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box...the bag was so small it completely crushed the hat and the hat cannot be reshaped. So disappointed....not sure who the genius was that decided to ship a straw hat in a tiny plastic bag, but maybe they should rethink that practice.

They come a little smooshed, but it's bendable to get the shape you want, so I totally expected it & dealt with it accordingly by bending i5 back into proper shape, easily I might add.I saw a review say they threw it right in the garbage cuz it was smashed flat. I was thinking, "Doh! Why?! It's bendable!" Frustration makes you do unfortunate things sometimes, I've been there before.Anyhow, it's cute, pink, and looks great! I am far from a cowgirl, even though I'm a Tucson, AZ native, but I still love wearing my pink cowboy hats, I've had a few over the years.

I reas previous reviews about smashed hats being delivered. This hat was perfectly packed inside an appropriately sized box. There was a very small bend at the edge of the brim where the packing pillow leaned on it during transit BUT it was so very easy to bend back to perfect! Fast shipping! Well packaged! I LOVE this cowboy hat! Great value! Fits my small head (22”)! I am extremely happy with this purchase!

I gave this hat 2 stars because the color and style are nice. HOWEVER... the hat came crushed up due to bad packaging. It came smashed in a plastic bag. Problem #2 is that the material is kind of "corkish", so I can't really reshape it. The style of the hat is cute. I'm going to TRY to work with it a bit. Otherwise, it'll have to be returned. You'd think since there are so many complaints about poor packaging, they'd do a better job.

A great little hat

I love this hat! I have a lot of hair and a big head, and it fits perfectly! I can't wait to wear it on the beach, it's so cute and well made with a cute jewel detail and a flexible brim.

Colour and look true to photos....just disappointed it arrived crushed but am shaping it back. Sides are bendable to adjust your look. Love the beading detail.

Got this hat for my son who had one with a lot of holes in it. He really likes it. Says it’s a bit tight but I think it looks fine.

Perfect for light weather.
