This has been a useful way to fertilize my roses at the start of the year. It is a compact and easy to spread around plants.

I have been looking for an organic fertilizer with no animal by-products and was very happy to find Espoma Organic Alfalfa Meal Fertilizer. The peppers, tomatoes, and basil plants all grew very well with a good crop. It is great to have home grown meals!

Great fast acting make sure to mix into soil when top dressing. Best organic solution for nitrogen.

Found it much cheaper at another store but they ordered it for me. the product is good. Amazon delivered next day. Had to drive about 10 miles to pick up.

I would like to recommend this product because it really has produced incredible results. Let's get something clear, I'm nuts about creating a perfect emerald carpet. I don't want anything less and have read and read about lawns and how to achieve that. First off, the lawn is a plant with a spreading habit. I think if you remember that, you stop treating it like hard landscaping. But saying all of that, I don't believe in perfect manicured lawns that cannot be walked on. In fact the more goodness you put into your lawn, the more it gives back to you e.g. walking on soft lush green grass in bear feet is a very healthful thing to do, because of all the negative ions. What this stuff does is that it goes into the soil and actually supplies the root zone of grass with vital nitrogen fixing bacteria. That quite simply means you won't then need to feed it continually with packets of chemicals that pollute the water ways, because the soil in which your grass grows will be made instantly richer. However, watch out that you are going to need to mow it more, much more for about 2 weeks. After using this product - and the hot wet weather - I found I needed to mow the lawn 6 times in 2 weeks!! The other good thing is the clippings will also be totally organic and advantageous to your compost heap too.

Essentiall for huge, 8' tall tea roses heavy with multitudes of blooms.
