WORKPRO Heavy Duty Adjustable Hydraulic Shop Stool, Black

I was looking for a stool to use when I am playing Virtual reality games. I looked for a good while then finally decided on this model. It just arrived today and I was very impressed at how quick and easy assembly was, it only takes about 10-15 minutes and is very straight forward with the instructions. The stool is super sturdy and I am confident that it will not break any time soon even though I am a rather large man at around 240 pounds This will be perfect for my VR sessions as you can easily (and smoothly) rotate 360 degrees . It adjusts in height so even while sitting I can remain at a standing height and I wont have to worry about my body drifting with my movement in games like I tend to do when standing, so no more blindly tripping over things or smacking my hand against the wall or furniture because I will always remain in the same spot. Once I even bent down in a game and hit my head on the corner of a speaker and was lucky I did no bleed. Update: In case you are wondering why I ordered the one with the pink seat was because at the time I ordered it was actually about $15 cheaper than the black model and I did not care for the green one. In person it really is not a bad color and looks better than the picture here on Amazon. But go figure that just a few days later they now have the black one priced cheaper than the pink one. Thanks Amazon!!! Apparently the price on these stools fluctuate. Anyhow I do give a big thumbs up to the WorkPro both for VR and also a great sturdy shop stool.

This is a very sturdy and well made product. Took a bit of time to put together, but ultimately it worked out well. The green is vibrant.

I've bought 3 of these stools now, not for my shop but to use at my outdoor bar and I've read tons of other reviews when trying to make up my mind which ones to buy. It's always the same thing, lousy quality Chinese merchandise where the holes don't match up, or the hardware is subpar. The workpro stools are easy to assemble, the directions are easy to follow and they go together like they should. They could be heavier padded but I think they're comfortable enough for enjoying a cold IPA. These are very well made sturdy stools and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again!

I needed a new stool for my workshop. I'm a big guy, and I tend to move a lot. Swiveling, getting up and down, adjusting my legs, hips, etc. I wanted something that would be nice and sturdy. I can't have it rattling, or creaking, or falling apart inside a year. After assembling this and using it for the last couple of months I can say that the stool is great. Feels very sturdy. The seat cushion is about as comfy as you'd expect from a shop stool. All in all, I'd say it's a great stool, and appears to 'heavy duty' like the name implies.
