I honestly didn’t expect to love this mascara as much as I do. I picked it up thinking it would be just another “okay” product, but it completely proved me wrong. The formula goes on smoothly, adds a ton of length, and somehow manages to give volume without clumping. My lashes look lifted and defined all day, and I haven’t had any smudging or flaking—even after a full day of wear. The wand is easy to work with, too. It grabs every lash, even the tiny corner ones I usually struggle with. I’ve actually had people ask if I’m wearing lash extensions! Overall, this mascara totally exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for something that delivers big results without a big fuss, this is absolutely worth trying.

Love this mascara. Use to buy the cheap ones but decided to invest. Great mascara. The video shows my first bottle and my fifth. Almost identical. Very reliable! UPDATE: This is my seventh purchase of Lancôme Idôle Lash Lifting and Volumizing Mascara, which says a lot on its own. I have used mascaras from Maybelline and L’Oréal for most of my life, and they both do a solid job. I originally bought this one when it was on sale and ended up liking it more than expected. What stands out is how clean the application is. It lifts and adds volume without clumping, which is something I struggle with using many other mascaras after a few usages. My lashes look defined and separated, not heavy or spiky. It also layers well without getting messy. The other brands I’ve used are still good and more budget friendly, but this one performs better for me, especially when it comes to clump control and overall finish. When it is on sale, it is absolutely worth it, and clearly I keep coming back to it.

This is an OG if you have long lashes, but want definition with a bit of thickness. The brush is key. Can layer quite a few coats to get the look you’re going for, if need be. Easy enough to wash off with soap and water and doesn’t flake- when it does, you’re overdue to replace. Good every day mascara.

The mascara is amazing. It gives instant lift and length without making my lashes look clumpy. The brush separates each lash really well, and the formula feels lightweight but still builds great volume. I love that it stays put all day without smudging or flaking, even in humidity. It also comes off easily with makeup remover, which is a big plus. If you want long, lifted, defined lashes with a clean finish, this mascara is definitely worth it.

I don't know how I slept on this mascara, I feel like I have tried every mascara under the sun with no luck finding one that works for me. This mascara has changed the game for me. I was an avid at home lash extension user for so long because I gave up on finding mascara that didn't clump or flake and that was easy to remove without damaging my lashes. I recently decided to focus on my lash health so I have been using a lash serum, so I really love the look of my natural lashes, but sometimes I want a little oomph without spending $$$ on lash lifts and tints that only last a few weeks. Enter Lash Idôle mascara. It goes on smooth, no clumps. It is buildable. It LASTS all day, no smudging or flaking. It removes so easily with a makeup removing balm. I make sure to give my lashes a good curl with a lash curler, throw on a coat, use a quality lash comb (drug store makeup brand that starts with R has an amazing dual ended red one that you can purchase on Amazon!!!!) and I usually end there. BUT. If I want more "drama" I add another coat or two, combing in between each coat for flawless lashes.

I have tried many many mascaras! I bought the Lancôme mascara during a black Friday sale. I was excited to get it, as I rarely spend that much on a mascara, UNLESS it’s worth it. I have very long eye lashes. In fact they scrape on the lenses of glasses. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. It was extremely clumpy and I had to scrape the clumps off before applying. Even after that, it went on my lashes unevenly, with clumps that I couldn’t separate without an eyelash comb. On a positive note, once I got the clumps off, it went on with good lengthening, dark and lasted a long time. It was a little difficult to remove with makeup wipes, probably because it was made to last. So the con is it clumps, the pros are it makes your lashes look long and thick. Plus it lasts. Personally, I hate clumpy mascara and would not purchase this again!

At first, I wasn’t sure about the price, but this mascara is genuinely worth it. I’d say it’s worth buying over a regular mascara under £10 because it holds really well. It separates the lashes very well so they don’t clump. With other mascaras I find they stick the lashes together in clumps and it ends up looking like you have fewer lashes, which kind of defeats the purpose. With this one, it gives a bit of length but also a nice perceived volume because the lashes stay separated. If you are not sure about this mascara after trying it for the 1st time, I’d recommend trying it in different angles. The wand has a slight curve, so depending on your eye shape or how your lashes grow (some go downwards, some upwards), it can make a big difference. I use the wand curve down (if that makes sense). I’d highly recommend playing around with the wand and how you hold it. Depending on how I want my lashes to look, I change the angle I use it at. I also don’t really start by rubbing at the lash line and wiggling through to the ends, which is what a lot of people do, because I find that can make the lashes clump. Instead, I gently comb through from the base of the lashes to the tips. Then to extend them, I lightly dab through the ends of the lashes and sweep outwards. This helps build length without clumping, because the more coats you apply, the clumpier they can get with any mascara!
