Review: Used in heavy rain, performed well with some drips - We bought this tent once we realized that our long-planned camping trip was going to be in the middle of an atmospheric river. After exhaustive searching and reading reviews, it sounded like a high quality tent. The assembly was really fast and easy. I half couldn't believe the videos showing its assembly, but yes, it goes up in a minute or two. The stakes were great for securing the tent, and easy to pull out when we decided to move it to a different position. We felt fancy and posh hanging out in it while other campers left early to avoid the storm. :) We got rained on heavily which really allowed us to test its water resistance. First of all it was a great shelter from the rain, and the skirt along the bottom base told me it would keep the rain from seeping under the tent to the inside. However, It was not perfect in 2 ways: 1. The roof in general performed very well, however, eventually we felt drips coming down in a couple places. The seam along the outer edge at the top was a source of drips, as water was seeping into that seam and coming out on the inside. Second, eventually on the heaviest rain day we found a few drops coming down where the straps held the roof onto the poles. Probably won't be an issue for most unless it is heavy rain like we experienced. 2. Due to the geometry of the tent, the outer screen walls stick out like squat pyramids for each side. This is how the walls get their rigidity. As the rain came down, we would get water coming in through the screen on the windward side, so we had to move some of our stuff away from the edge and sit in the middle. The tent does not come with solid walls to hang up, although Gazelle does sell a 3-wall pack for $50. If you are planning to camp in the rain, I'd suggest you get these walls as well. We will either get these or use some of the ripstop nylon we have and make some custom walls. It may not solve the seam drip issue since those walls attach outside of the seam and won't cover it. We plan on finding a rainproofing treatment to stop the seam from dripping and are otherwise happy with this tent and look forward to using it on more camping trips and for backyard parties! Review: Nice Quality - Love it - I tried my hardest to put it up by myself the first time. I'm only 5'6" and could not for the life of me put up the center hub, my arms just couldn't stretch far enough, so hubby had to help. (NOW, I stake down some of the bottom and it helps to push up the middle.) I am able to close it down by pulling hard on two of the upper arms and pack it away. It is bulky and heavy, but that's an indication of the quality. Some have asked if you can put a wind panel to cover the door opening - YES, mine has the velcro (hook & loop) pieces around the door area also (purchased Spring 2021). So I am able to use all 6 panels! Yes I was able to get an 8' picnic table in there. (It leaves about a 2-3' on the one end to walk around.) No it does not have a floor, it is a screen room, most do not! (You can purchase the footprint/floor mat separately. I have no need for that, one less thing to sweep, let the food fall on the grass! lol) Still don't think I would want a tarp for a floor, would rather have a woven rug like we use under the awning, but then again I will not use this for a tent; buy a tent for that purpose! I wish it had a loop to hang a light/fan. There's one on the outside center top hub, not sure why it's on the outside?? Not like you can use that to set it up. The loop would also give you something extra to pull on to close it down. It's easy enough to do to hang a light, but I don't like having something that hooks/wraps around the top poles and then would rub on the canvas possibly creating a leak. When opening it, yes it will be inside/out. Just start unfolding the panels and pulling on the straps and it will right itself. Basically you are going to unfold the panels so that the center hub is now on the inside. (Watch YouTube videos, some will show this technique, some do not.) That's just how it folds down. It even helped me to place it on it's top (the top center hub) and let the panels fall into place, then start pulling them. With practice, I am now able to put it and down by myself, yes in less than a minute. Longer to stake it down. The stakes included with this are Heavy Duty and are screw like, so you can basically unscrew them to remove them from the ground instead of trying to pull them up if the ground is hard and dry. There are D Rings at the top and bottom of each section to attach the wind panels with S Hooks and then the velcro. Held up good in the rain - no leakage problems! I love that this one has a flap that covers the top of the wind panels to help keep out the rain. I can see that if you purchased "The Other One" where that would be an issue; water will get in between the panel and the screened material without having that flap. Had a question for customer service and they were awesome in their reply, even sent me a freebie! See my review on the wind panels with more pictures! If you are unable to see my review on the wind panels - Take Note when you take them out of the packaging. The "Tops" of all the wind panels are connected. If you pay attention to this, you will not have any problem figuring how to attach them and knowing which side is UP. I then reattach them the same way (all the tops connected) when I pack them away. Yes, I have used all 6 panels! Pictures attached. LOVE MY GAZELLE!

BEST Gazebo Tent For Your Money
If you’re seriously considering this screened gazebo please read this. We’ve owned many tents, gazebos, umbrellas, etc. This by far was the easiest and quickest to put up (and easier to take down and put in the zippered bag). My wife wasn’t available to assist and I did it in less than two minutes. The stakes took a few more minutes to install. I was nervous about taking it down and repacking it but much to my surprise it was easier than the initial installation. Note, the instructions are very simple and easy to follow but you must follow them to the T if you want the quick install I had. So far so good. The zippers are strong, screens offers UV protection and a degree of privacy. We haven’t used it in the rain yet so we will see how it does. We also bought the wind panels but haven’t used them yet either. I consider the material to be durable, the gazebo is attractive, comes with plenty of stakes and tie lines, and the carry bag is very nice with sewn in Velcro straps to keep it securely closed. We are very pleased especially for the price. Hope you have the same fortune.

Too good for its own good
So, I spent weekssss researching a gazebo for camping. Everything that you read from other reviews is correct! I guess I didn’t quite understand the extent of how true it was, so let me just elaborate. And let me preface with - so far, all my trips so far have been during a heat wave in Florida (90-100* weather). First of all, the pros! This gazebo is GREAT!! It keeps flying bugs out (including the pesty noseeums)! It is very sturdy! It holds up in wind and rain well. It’s extremely easy to set up! I was able to set it up alone in under 5 minutes (I didn’t actually time myself, but you literally just pull the sides out, pop up the top, and stake it in. SUPER easy. It’s large. As you can see in the video, I was able to fit A LOT inside. I have a table, a kitchen/cooking table, a fan, 2 coolers, and my Chillbo Schwaggins couch…. With my beautiful rug and pouf in the middle. I have not had any problems with it being too big for any sites as others have mentioned, but I’m also tent camping, not RV camping… so definitely size could be an issue with larger RVs. The material is very sturdy! You can feel the quality, and I’m confident that it will hold up for many years. Now, the cons. My BIGGEST beef with this beautiful addition is air flow… or I should say the lack there of. Almost EVERY negative review mentions this. No one has mentioned the side effects of zero airflow. I thought, “ok, I’ll have shade, no breeze, no big deal, I’m not living in the gazebo after all”… BUT that’s not really the case. On a hot day, that gazebo is like entering hell. It’s a straight up greenhouse, sauna, whatever you want to call it. It is easily 15*F hotter in there than it was outside. As soon as I enter the gazebo during the heat of the day, gallons of sweat just pour from my pores. One morning, there was a dead wasp on the ground and a bunch of ants were feeding on it, so I let them do their thing, but when I went to check on them in the afternoon, they were all dead. The heat literally just kills everything in there. That is no joke, no exaggeration. The fan was literally just circulating hot air. With all of that being said, I’m sure I’ll love the effects of the zero breeze when I’m hanging out in there this winter!! Those cold chills can really make or break an awesome night if camping, and this could really make it more enjoyable. All that aside, the only other thing I will mention is, this is NOT pest proof. If you think you can just zipper it up and keep all the critters out, it’s not going to happen. I didn’t keep any food in the gazebo overnight, but the raccoons still slid under the edges to get in and ransack the inside. They mostly just rearranged my belongings, but also ate my fire starter logs. I didn’t realize that was a hot item for trash pandas, but apparently it is. So, keep everything as locked up as possible at all times. Nothing is safe inside. I hope this is helpful for anyone looking to buy. I’m 100% happy with my purchase, and I’d definitely buy another, but this is not made for Florida heat!

Great bug preventer
Fell in love with this in the MN summers, where the mosquito is the state bird. The size is great for a few people to enjoy a campfire. Setup was reliable and the quality I had no issues with. The tie downs for wind worked well also. Can't say anything negative.

Awesome! SO easy to set up
We purchased the newly designed Gazelle G6. And oh, they have done a great job! The new stakes are sturdy and long (unlike the junky ones they used to have). They also now have fabric covers for each interior hub. The side panels (sold separately) attach in a way that will help rain water to stay out of the tent rather than running down the screens. I am a tiny person . . . and I took the thing out of the shipping box, the carry bag, and set it up all by myself in a minute. The only thing I could not do was push the center hub up. I'm too short! I staked down each panel, then hubby popped it up for me. Once it was done the first time, I was able to do it the subsequent times. (and we travel with a folding stool that I will use if necessary in the future). They have included a strap with a loop in it that you can loop around the center hub. The strap dangles down so even short people like me can pop that baby down without any problem. We are SO excited about using this. Will have to update after we actually take it on the road. We also purchased 3 of the side panels. They are super easy to attach. The only issue is that the velcro strop on one was off and didn't match the one spot on the tent. I'll just sew on another piece of velcro and it will be fine.

Love our Gazelle
The cons: This thing is long when collapsed (6') and heavy. My husband initially set it up and it was inside out (his error.) The mesh screen was very tight woven, so there was nary a puff of air getting through the screen making it stuffy inside. Neoprene padding for friction points are hooked on by velcro and come loose. The pros: Wow! This thing is only slightly more complicated than an umbrella to put up!! Up In seconds! It is so roomy and the shape makes it seem much larger than the stated dimensions. The stakes that come with it are t-handled stainless steel and are put in and taken out of the ground with ease. The zipper had very smooth travel. It's very easy to move when in the "up" position, and much lighter than dragging a picnic table inside. The carry bag had ample room for the tent and optional rain fly panels, which we got. We debated on this model versus others, and I have zero regrets. We love our Gazelle and can't wait to use it well into the fall and spring. Love our Gazelle! Update September 2024: This beast is still going strong! We've camped in all four seasons (single digit temps in winter.) The tight weave keeps bluster wind at bay. The optional panels turn this into a cozy entertainment area with a heater. I move my cooking to this when it's windy or rainy. When it wears out, we'll get another.

Surprisingly good but not without flaws (Update: LEAKS)
Update: Downgraded my review from 4 to 3 stars because even after using tent sealant on this thing, it's very leaky in moderate rain. It leaks from the factory seals that upon first glance looked solid. Pretty annoying for a 3 month old purchase. I don't mind some leaking on the edges but the top/center of it should not leak so much. It's close, but as much as I liked this gazebo originally, if I had to go back I'd do better research and probably not buy this one. If leakiness isn't a concern for you I'd def still recommend it. Original review: This gazebo was an impulse buy and before I used it I had major buyer's remorse. But that all changed after my first trip with it. I am in love with this thing. I have always leaned more towards the 'let's rough it' camper attitude so I was pretty skeptical that this was gonna be worth the extra hassle. But it has been great on the 4 trips I've used it on so far, here are some of the highlights: - The biggest pro for me is that it's surprisingly comfortable to hang out in. Keeps you dry, significantly blocks wind even without wind panels, and away from the bugs. - So easy to put up and take down - Holds up in strong winds as long as you attach guy lines correctly - It does hold heat and get hot in the sun, I recommend a battery powered fan to clip to the inside. Probably wouldn't recommend this gazebo if you only plan on using it for shade in direct sunlight, it really does heat up a lot. But if you have a strong enough fan it's probably fine. - It's pretty long when collapsed, make sure to measure to ensure it will fit wherever you plan on storing/packing it. - While the 6 sided gazebo is pretty large compared to their other models, I'm glad I got it instead of a smaller one because most campsite picnic tables fit inside it. - As for the negatives, I subtracted 1 star for durability and the crazy cost of accessories - One of the plastic eyelets where the wind panels hook on to already broke. The cap on one of the door support poles popped off. The felt/padding around each center support section is already looking worse for the wear. The bag is ripping (but that's probably more my fault). Three pieces of nylon (the wind panels) will run you $60. That bothered me. But as for the durability, it's not a huge deal, just need to be somewhat gentle with it. - I did use seam sealant after seeing the other reviews about leaking. I haven't used it in heavy rain, but in light rain it's been fine.

Nice size
Very happy. Great for the two of us. With table chairs and room for coolers. Can easily fit 4 people. Easy to put up and take down. Didn’t need a big truck like some gazebo’s to take camping. Was more compact and the quality is good

Best purchase I have ever made
I cannot say enough good stuff about this gazebo. Easy to put up easy to take down. I bought the side panels, they came in handy when we had a torrential rainstorm when were were out one weekend. I tie the sides down if I know we are going to have wind. Otherwise I just steak it down. We stayed dry and cozy. The seams did drip a little. It’s not waterproof. I was impressed how little it leaked with the downpour we had. I have since put some waterproofing on the roof seams. We sit 5 with lawn chairs comfortably Along with my table, and side tables. I call this our living room. We have a 15 ft trailer and it’s nice to have this room outside. It is big and heavy. I store it on the twin bed when we travel. I also purchased that awesome outdoor 9x9 round rug from Amazon. We love this space. We spend a lot of mornings and evenings in the gazebo. The system is strong nothing has ever collapsed. The roof has not come down. I love the gazelle product. My next purchase is going to be the Gazelle T4 hub tent. We need a tent when we have our grandkids and family members join us.

Parfait!

Easy to setup and disassemble.
Like the product however, the guide lines were to short. 59 inch line for a 70 inch tall gazebo, and that is with no pitch. Not sure what the thought process is there. Going to need to get new guide lines. Was disappointed when I installed this for the first time and found this deficiency. Otherwise appears to be a good product. Not sure on durability yet, only used it once.

Works well, recommend
I have set this tent up twice now, both times was by myself and very simple and easy, we will see when I go camping soon as it’s bug season so this should help, overall I really like it, would recommend.
