Alkalol helps me keep my sinuses healthy!
I love this Alkalol Nasal Wash! You get 3 bottles containing 16 oz each. It's very easy to use by following the directions on the bottle and using the Alkalol Nasal Wash Cup. I like that you can adjust the strength of Alkalol by using more or less. I use the Alkalol by adding two to three teaspoons of Alkalol to my nasal saline solution when I flush out my sinuses with my machine. Alkalol helps me keep my sinuses healthy and it feels refreshing. Alkalol also helps me dissolve mucus, tackle nasal congestion, and moisturizers my nasal passages. There's no thickness to this liquid because it's thin like water and mixes well. It does lasts a long time and is easy to store the bottle(s) under your bathroom sink or in your linen closet. I highly recommend Alkalol Nasal Wash for anyone that suffers from sinusitis, allergies, head colds and post-nasal drip!

It really helps !!
I usually don't write reviews but this product improved my quality of life enough that I felt compelled to share my results. Late November/early December every year my sinuses stop up like clockwork and everyone knows how miserable that is. It's not allergy related either so those meds don't help. Over the years I have used saline rinses which do help somewhat but not to the degree I would like. A colleague recommended Alkalol to me and it has made a noticeable difference from using just saline rinses. Everyone uses different methods and products but here is what works for me. I use a hand held battery powered rinser from itherau that is available on Amazon at a reasonable cost. It's the kind that you hold up to one nostril and the gunk flows out of the other. It has 3 different settings depending on how strong you want the flow to be. I use it in the shower so I don't have to worry about the mess or holding my head over the sink at a weird angle. I use 8 ounces of warm distilled water, one saline packet, and two teaspoons of alkalol per rinse. I rinse one side and then repeat the process with the other nostril. I have the second 8 oz. mixture ready to go so i don't have to stop the shower and fix up another mixture. I just pour it into the empty itherau and do the second rinse. The itherau holds about 10oz. so that's how I have to do it. The extra amount of mucous it was washing out compared to just the saline rinse was instantly noticeable. When i first received the alkalol I did this twice a day. Once in the morning and then again about an hour before bedtime. I did this for 3 days but now only have to do it once a day in the evening because the results have been so positive. It has been a game changer for me. I can breathe freely and the biggest plus has been that i can finally get a good nights sleep which is crucial. After just a couple of days my wife even noticed how much more soundly I was sleeping without having to constantly get up to blow my nose or be snorting and sniffling all night which affected her sleep too so she is a big fan also. Sleeping in a separate room was on the table so I'm really glad this product has worked for me and i hope if you use it you will get some relief too. Please use distilled or previously boiled water because you do not want any extra germs or bacteria being shot into your sinuses. Using warm water helps loosen the mucous too not to mention how uncomfortable it is to shoot cold water up your nose! You can adjust the amount of alkalol to your liking too. The 2 teaspoons per 8oz. of water that I use is considered the medium dose and has worked well for me. Everyone has their own definition of affordable but three 16oz. bottles for $20 seemed very reasonable to me considering the relief it has given me and how little you have to use for it to be effective. Hope this helps.

My doctor recommended this
This is a great nasal wash. Very helpful when we have colds or sinus issues. My doctor recommended to use this with a nasal wash receptacle. Still MUST use saline packets also. It is very refreshing. This is all I buy for the family. I recommend it to everyone.

Brilliant find.
I have sinus issues and always used normal saline flushed. A friend told me about this as I was fighting an infection and could not get to MD. I tried it and my sinuses were clearing out for 2-3 days after one use. The first time you use it, it will make you cry. But well worth it. I have used it a couple of times and it works. I wish I knew about this years ago. It clears your sinuses way better than normal saline. I like the fact it is also natural ingredients.

Nice Addition to My Saline Nasal Rinse
I have been doing saline sinus rinses morning and night for over a decade as a way to control my allergies. I recently read about Alkalol and decided to try it and see if I enjoy any additional relief from congestion and post-nasal drip. I add about 3 tsps. of Alkalol to my Neil-Med saline rinse (squeeze bottle) and so far, I do believe it has lessened my middle-of-the-night congestion as well as my daytime post-nasal drip. It also just feels really good, kind of like mouthwash for your nose:-) Pro tip: Be sure you don't forget to add saline to the water as well as Alkalol or it will sting.

Great formula for a sinus rinse
I used to use sinus salt formula which needed to dissolve for a sinus rinse. I had an issue with a formula that was contaminated and needed to find a new solution. This works great! The formula is concentrated and needs to be diluted with distilled water. You can vary the strength by the amount of water added.

If you have allergies or a cold, this is great product. I have used it for years and it is a great nasal reliever. Great directions on how to use it too. Handy three pack is a real plus.

I have had sinus issues for years, I am now in my mid sixties and continue to self manage. Using this Alkalol has been most useful, being used with my electric sinus rinse machine. It feels so refreshing when done, and, it seems, helps very much to break down the very thickened mucous that can be otherwise so difficult to shift. It is expensive and so I save this for when a cold or other sinus congestions seem to be beyond that of regular rinsing. Although it can mean one full bottle is used for each occasion, at least it then has made a very big difference when there seems, at times, so little else to be effective. Overall I VERY much recommend this type of rinse. I simply would not be without it to be used when things are going a little bad. If you do try it, I use it around three times a day and the relief and help is almost immediate. It does take a couple of days for me for the mucous to be breaking up. So, excellent, very effective and does not cause irritation. Cooling effect felt and does open up the airways. All the best with your sinus care journey, I know how hard it can be.
