this is a real review
This fly paper is a simple and effective way to get rid of annoying flies. It has no smell, no bait, and no mess. It comes in a cardboard tube that you can easily pull and hang anywhere. The sticky surface catches flies and other insects quickly and securely. It is a great product for indoor and outdoor use.

Very bad product
I read a review saying do not waste your money on this, I should have listened, do not waste your money seriously this is useless, not a single fly. You might as well hang some toilet paper instead, probably more effective.

The Sticky Fly Trap Indoor Hanging is a simple and reliable way to reduce annoying flies and small flying insects inside your home. Just hang it where you see activity — near windows, doors, or kitchens — and the sticky surface does the rest. No sprays, poisons, or complicated setup required. It catches flies quickly and silently, and the hanging design keeps it out of the way yet visible where it’s needed most. The traps are lightweight and easy to replace when full. Pros: Easy to use, chemical‑free, effective on common house flies Cons: Needs replacement over time, works best as part of regular pest control Bottom Line: A convenient and affordable indoor fly trap that helps keep flying insects under control without fuss — ideal for kitchens, patios, and living spaces.

I have a few of these in my large garden courtyard, which we have fenced off for 2 puppies to play (until they can be trusted in the yard not to hurt themselves or destroy the reticulation and the garden). These hang out of reach over their 2 potty areas and do a great job. Just remember to be very careful not to let your pups get at them. We had a strong wind and one blew down. While they’re not toxic they are a strip of gunk covered fabric. Luckily our dog finally vomitted it up so we discovered what had happened to it and it didn’t get stuck in his intestines. The other day it was extremely windy and one must have blown off and was eaten by one of the puppies. It appeared in vomit a day later and in diarrhoea over a couple of days. Looked it up and thank goodness no insecticides are used and the substance isn’t toxic. I now take that one down when it’s very windy!

It's a strip of glue. If you've never used such a thing before, then this seems like an ineffective way to catch flies, but if you leave it alone for any period of time, you'll be surprised by what you find stuck to it when you come back. I don't know if it's "sufficiently" sticky, but I have multiple traps practically encrusted with flies so whatever it is, it is sticky enough. The big problem is that there are places I have an infestation but no place to attach it to; light fixtures seem best since flies like the light and will happily fly right into the trap but if you have no such place then you'll need alternate solutions. I'd take a half star away from the review if I could for that particular issue, as well as the fact that, well, it makes no bones about the fact it's basically a length of packing tape flapping in the wind and you'll be greeted with a strip of fly corpses whenever you enter a room which might be a little off-putting to say the least. I'd probably also not use this for anything save a plague of flies, the stray fly that might find in an otherwise bug-free home probably should be dealt with in a more manual method.
