Can the rear wireless speakers be powered by battery, or do they have to be plugged in to AC?

A battery hooked up to an inverter.  When they say wireless they mean that the rear speakers are connected to the main unit wirelessly, they still need to be plugged into an outlet.  My wireless receiver burnt out after 10 years so I finally ditched the system, it was good and I will miss it.

How can I connect my mp3 player to the system while having the music playing out of every speaker?  Thanks!

Assuming you already have the cable (the one that looks like it has the headphone plug on both ends), just plug one end into your mp3 and the other into the input on the side of the control module. On the left side, there is a jack for headphones and a jack for a stereo input (has a melody symbol beside it). After that, you will have to press the EFFECT button until you get sound out of all speakers. Just a warning. No matter which EFFECT you choose, it won't sound as good as a dedicated stereo.

Do these have correct plug to connect to my pc?  is there newer 5.1 w/wireless rear speakers for pc?

A strange question, but I'll try to answer it anyway.  They are designed to connect whatever you want, most people use them to connect to their PC.  You would have to buy the correct "plug" or "cable" for what you are connecting.  It comes with direct audio cables which work fine when plugged into your PC or you can use a digital optical fiber cable or it has inputs for RCA.  This is a very old system that I have had for 10 years.  There are many like it for similar price.
