The Deadcat is a waste of money, get this
Ok I got the deadcat 4 years ago and I boy was I dissapointed. Works in light winds but still picks up a WOOSH here and there. Thankfully this thing has dropped in price. It's WAY better. Great examples of it on youtube. If you already own a deadcat, I'd recommend figuring out how to wrap it around some tougher foam. There are examples of how to make cheap windscreen but if yo ualready ahve the deadcat material which is probably better than what you can get at walmart, than you are 90% there. Anyway if you don't have any windscreen, get this. It's GREAT.

These are popular for a reason
Notice how many of these you see used on TV interviews in the age of Covid? They are reasonably affordable and work in all but the heaviest winds. Then you'll need a blimp. Having said that I live in a very windy area but this has never failed to cut wind noise. Fits nicely on my Rode NTG2.

Toller Fell-Windschutz von RODE
Ich benutze damit ein Sennheiser MKE600 und entschied mich aus Kostengründen für den RODE WS-6 anstelle des Sennheiser-Windschutz, der etwa 15,- Euro teurer ist und wohl identisch. Der Windschutz macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck und dämpft die Windgeräusche ausreichend ab. Tolles, kostengünstiges Equipment in Profi-Qualität.

Impressive Wind Dampening
Really impressive at killing wind noise in low wind. Make sure to add a top end boost as this muffles the higher frequencies slightly - a know pro tip when using dead cats. If you're looking for total wind isolation in windy conditions i would reccomend the Blimp, but this is great if you're on a budget.
