A bit expensive but much better than cheaper after market versions.
I own an SX60. I always like to have an extra battery handy and I found the cheap after market ones I purchased worked "OK" but not great or as good as original OEM. Their charge did not last as long, and after a year or two they began to fade. My research told me the original OEM version was no longer available but I kept it in my saved list just in case. But, then, suddenly Amazon listed them. I ordered (had to wait a while for shipping) but after a few weeks it arrived. It looks, charges, and acts just like my old OEM. Make sure you are ordering this directly from Amazon and not a 3rd party to insure you get a fresh OEM.

Always Get The Canon Brand
I've cheaped out in the past and gotten the knock-off brand batteries for my Canon M50 and M50 MKII cameras. I noticed that those knock-offs drain faster and so far I've had two of them swell over time. I noticed that my original Canon batteries that came with the cameras were still great and lasted longer so I decided to buy Canon brand battery this time. So much better! Yes, the Canon battery costs more but I honestly feel like it's a better battery. Now, it's not like it's gonna run all day....well, I take that back. I've been using it to shoot video, so it doesn't go all day doing that. STILL lasts longer than the knock-offs. If you're shooting photos only, it will last longer on a charge than if you're shooting video only. Bottom line: get the Canon brand. It gives you more run time on a charge and so far I have not experienced any battery swelling on the 3 Canon batteries. With the off-brand batteries I've had 4 batteries and 2 have swollen.

An essential second
While you may never need to mega batteries like these, it's always good to have a second. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

Genuine Canon battery
It is the real thing. What more to say? If you have some older batteries this shepe, the red stripe makes it easy to know this the LP-E19 version.

Works as advertised for R3
Compatible with my R3. Just wish life was a little longer, but two batteries generally gets me through six or more sports games/matches on tournament days.

Three year old battery - not OEM packaging
Bad news: Battery was manufactured three years from date of purchase and read August 2022. The voltage was 0V indicating the safety circuit disabled the battery because the voltage was too low - this indicates a potentially damaged battery due to low voltage. Did not arrive in OEM packaging - refurb? pre-owned? who knows. Good news: After a full charge with a Canon OEM charger the battery registered 8.37V straight off the charger (2x4.2V cells = 8.4V). I shot 250 JPG images and a 30 minute HD 60fps movie. The on-screen battery meter indicated "full", which is normal for this demand, with a voltage of 7.6V (2x3.8V). The logo and imprints matched an OEM battery from 2017 and 2018. Conclusion: Buyer beware, at some point these $70 "original" and "new" batteries will be past their shelf life. Do not leave charging unattended as a thermal runaway is most likely during the first few charging cycles.
