My pool cleaning robot stop working and it became evident the the power supply was dead. This was an excellent replacement and made for an easy fix.

Tried a cheaper one and it was not compatible. This works perfectly.

Bought this unit in June 2018 as a replacement unit for one that failed after two years of service. Worked fine and we closed the pool in September of the same year. It sat in a box for its winter storage in a heated and dry area. Went to open the pool in May 2019 and much to my surprise the power supply was not working. I thought no problem, I'll get it repaired under warranty RIGHT? Well as it turns out, the sticker on the unit clearly says "For warranty information and Repair" go to their website. Nothing is published on their website regarding this information. You must call Customer Service and wait in a queue for 15-25 minutes only to be told the unit is only guaranteed for only 6 months from the date of purchase and POWER SUPPLIES CANNOT BE REPAIRED! Avoid purchasing this product at all costs. It cost me $212 for only 40 operating hours of use. Nobody in Customer Service saw the Humor in this scenario. All they would say "nobody is forcing you to purchase another one" LOL, of course they are forcing you to buy a replacement unit as the alternative is to let a $1,200 pool cleaner go without use.

It's the perfect part to save my Dolphin for hopefully years more of service. Saved $100s. I can't really speak to installation. My electrician son had it installed quickly. Excellent!

We have a ten-year old Apollo Dolphin pool bot. Over time I've had to replace a bunch of parts to keep it running - which it does its job well. The on/off switch in the controller has basically failed - sometimes would require it to be pressed 100 times to start the bot - then the bot functioned normally through its cycle. This controller is the exact replacement for the original. Aside from having to swap out the power cord, it was simply plug it in to the bot, the outlet and touch the button. Perfect. Now, for $300, it should have come with a new power cord and a tube of silicone grease waterseal. The little tab that holds the power cord on had disintegrated so I'm just using a washer to keep it in place. I also understand it is a sealed unit to keep it waterproof, yet for a couple of dollars I could easily have replaced the on/off switch if the unit was capable of being opened. Maybe the power switch needs to be integrated into the power cord? I appreciate that the power supply was still available instead of dropping $1k plus on a new bot - but the new bots are more advanced.

We inherited a Hayward power supply when we bought our house almost 2 years ago. It was obviously several years old and finally stopped turning on. We purchased this one to replace it and so far, have been very pleased. It came straight on and works wonderfully. We also purchased a cover to go over our caddy and keep it out of the weather.
