Will it function wirelessly (especially the transport) without any additional software installs?

Hi, yes it works without any additional installation of any software. You will need to pair it when you turn it on, and depending on what else you have paired already may require you do it each time. Question 2

Can these be daisy chained together in the daw to allow for control of additional channels in increasing groups of eight? like 2 for 16 channels etc

Accepted Answer

There is the concept of BANKS - there are 5 banks (scenes) so you can assign each of the 8  rows of controls to different things in each bank. So in your example you could control 5 groups of 8 channels each for a total of up to 40 channels.  You just have to click a button to select which bank you want to use.

Will this support reaper on a windows 10 pc?

Yes  I havec the nanoKontrol Studio and I use it with Reaper 5 and now Reaper 6, my DAW of choice. If you run into issues, look at this page as sometimes a KORG product will appear not to work but that is because it must be assigned by Windows as a midi port between 0 and 9.

does it come with a ableton live lite code? wich softwares are included in the bundle?
