Works Great!!!!

I always know when I buy a GreenLee product that it's money well spent. This punch set is no exception. Being from Canada and always seeing this set normally cost around $550 CAD, I jumped on getting this when I saw it for only $300 USD on Amazon.com while I was in the US. I've only used it for 1/2" punches so far and it works like a charm. It leaves a VERY clean hole without any burs or shards that are usually left from a hole saw or stepper bit. The hole is also perfectly sized for the L16 or conduit nipple to fit into. In order to make the initial hole, I recommend that you do have a stepper bit so you can enlarge your initial pilot hole up to the size required to get the bolt through.

Great will buy again

This is my second Greenlee knockout kit. The first one was purchased probably a decade ago, and is still going strong. It was the smaller set that stops at 1-1/4. I needed a larger set, so I ordered this one. The ratcheting handle beats my old method of a ratchet and socket, as it sits closer to the work and rolls off less. These are far better made than the Chinese knock-offs, like the ones HFT sells. If you only need a hole or two, buy the cheap ones. If you want something that will last years through countless holes, go with Greenlee.

Value for money

It created a clean hole and was straightforward to use. Used it to place holes into a wiring gutter and into an electrical panel.

I just picked up my 1/2”-2” set of knockout’s and the first thing I noticed was the 3/8 draw stud had rust all over it as you can see in the picture. The 1-1/4 die has rust on it as well. I’ve been buying Greenlee equipment for over 40 years now and I would have never expected this. We’ve had a long relationship Greenlee but you lost this long time customer. Klein and other manufacturers have begun to produce many of these products you make and I’m happy to start buying from them after seeing this garbage.

Great product, good value for money. Only issue I had with the set was that when it arrived, the dies had a piece of cardboard above the pointed ends, and they had torn into it, leaving an immense amount of cardboard fibers all over the inside of the case, mixed into all the threads and pre-oiled pieces. It was an absolute mess. Because the fibers stuck to the oil, I had to take everything out and use brake cleaner to get everything cleaned up and then oil it all over again. Other than that issue, I would recommend this set to anyone with similar needs. Ratchet is much cheaper than the pneumatic versions, and honestly not a big deal if you're not doing a lot of holes. I do a lot of service work and getting a new panel to fit an old service entrance can be tricky, but it's much easier with this.

Great buy for work. Was tired of using old beat up Kits at work with missing pieces. Bought this and although initially a little steep you can individually replace anything you need to when needed. Great set from greenlee. Sharp, clean cuts and a sturdy case to store the set in. Impressed

The prices are reasonable

Hands down the best ko set i like the wrench better than hydraulic on my service truck.
