A solid hockey tape at a solid price. The tape is ready to use and does not make a sticky mess when removed. As good and thick as the brand name takes out there. Stretches well to use on the handle and blade. Worth buying and it's made in Canada, the home of hockey.

I used to play hockey a lot when I was younger, and I always used this tape. Now that I'm into CrossFit, I've found that this tape is still my go-to choice. What I like about this tape is that it's just the right size. It's not too wide or too skinny, so I can easily wrap it around my thumbs when I'm lifting weights. This helps me keep a good grip without being uncomfortable or getting in the way. I also appreciate that this tape doesn't stretch out. Some tapes get all stretched and stop sticking after a while, but this one stays put and does its job the whole time I'm working out. Another bonus is that this tape is cheaper than the stuff that's specifically marketed for CrossFit. Even though it costs less, it works just as well, if not better.

Black Hockey Tape (ASIN B01F867314) This product performs as described. This product’s adhesive is functional. This product’s material is cloth and the color is black. This product does include 6-rolls. This product’s adhesive does not appear to seep through the cloth material, but upon new use, is felt alongside the edges. The felt adhesive alongside the edges appear to lessen with use/handling. To note, the product has a noticeable smell, I assume of the adhesive, that is not pleasant. Again, the adhesive’s smell appears to lessen with use/handling. The product does allow to be stretched to a degree, and it does appear to adhere to its own cloth surface well. This product was not utilized on a hockey stick, but on a rifle magazine. The rifle magazine was made of polymer (plastic) manufactured by Circle-10. The rifle magazine surface used with this product had ribbings and curves that were shaped inward and outward. This product performed well when affixing it to the relatively complex surface, and adhered to the polymer material’s ribbings and curves. Upon first use, the adhesive felt alongside the edges caught particles such as carpet fragments. The rifle magazines came into contact with dirt, and the dirt did stick to the cloth edges but were easily brushed off by hand. The cloth appears to not easily come apart, as the rifle magazines were thrown/tossed into dirt, and the cloth did not loosen. I recommend this product to anyone seeking cloth material (like thin canvas) tape.

Alot of guys I play with are using clear. I like the old school cloth. This is some good stuff.

Cheap stick tape. It works just fine, especially for the price.

Best tape for climbing sticks and stands

Sticks well to any stick. Stretch enough and thickness is good. Could be versatile and has more color options
