Does this work in Linux?

I'm currently using it with Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS. Output works fine, but has quiet static (a problem I've read is common with USB audio interfaces). That static is quiet enough to not notice unless the volume is cranked and nothing is playing. Input appears to work. It worked for an electric guitar when I tried it. It did not work for a microphone I tried, but that microphone may be the issue. It's got a mini XLR cable that plugs into a wireless transmitter. I thought maybe I could connect it directly to the interface instead of using the wireless adapters. I bought a mini XLR to XLR adapter and plugged it into this interface. I couldn't get it to work. I'll be trying a different dynamic mic with an XLR cable soon.

Awesome budget audio interface!

Great audio interface! I have no issues with it yet, no popping or static like people who have had issues with audio interfaces have had. It feels great despite being made of plastic. It's very light but that isn't a big issue. It's nice and compact so it fits on my desk and being an amateur home recorder (if that's a thing lol) it's very intuitive and easy to use. It sounds great and doesn't add any character to the sound and my guitars sound great going through it!

初めてのオーディオインターフェースとして購入しましたが、かなり満足しています。設定もシンプルで、PCに接続してすぐ使い始められました。音質はこの価格帯として十分クリアで、ノイズも少なく、マイク録音やギター入力でも問題なく使えています。ファンタム電源対応なのでコンデンサーマイクもそのまま接続できるのが便利でした。入力が2系統あるので、マイクと楽器を同時に使える点も使い勝手が良いです。宅録や弾き語り、簡単な配信ならこれ1台で十分こなせると思います。付属ソフトも入門にはありがたく、購入してすぐDTMを始められるのも魅力でした。本体も軽くコンパクトなので、机の上でも邪魔になりません。気になった点としては、ゲイン調整が少しシビアに感じる場面がありましたが、慣れれば問題ないレベルです。価格を考えるとかなりコストパフォーマンスが高く、「これから録音や配信を始めたい」という人にはかなりおすすめできるモデルです。

Pues una interfaz de audio que está bastante bien y muy correcta, asequible y a buen precio. La compré reacondicionada por 38 euros en estado "aceptable" y ha venido igual que nueva, vamos que apenas hay diferencias. Para empezar en esto de las tarjetas de sonido, muy recomendable. La tengo conectada a unos Presonus E5 y suena muy bien, ningún fallo de momento. Por cierto, los drivers se descargan en un periquete desde la página de M-Audio.
