This is a quality product and it is very sturdy.. It is the perfect size for small back yard flyers to medium/large RC aircraft. This should last a very long time. It's worth the investment.

I purchased this for my E-Flite Apprentice STS. It was a bit too small for this plane as far as the height goes. If the tail of your plane has a height taller than 7" (measured from the top of the fuselage to the top of the tail) then this stand is not tall enough. The tail will hit the ground/workbench when your plane is inverted. It works really well for any of my smaller planes. Great stand! Good storage area for your tools, batteries or whatever you need. If your plane has a tail height smaller than the 7" as explained above, then this is the stand that will work well for you. The Foam Rubber Padding sticks well and protects your plane from damage. Would highly recommend this stand! Great build, sturdy and well thought out. Keep in mind the height! If your plane's tail height is taller than what is explained above, get the Mega Stand. I have the Ultra & the Mega and they are both great RC Plane stands. A+++++

As always, everything Ernst makes is great quality. The supports can be swapped around to support different length fuses. They stay stuck in the base as they should. The storage areas molded in the base hold just about anything you need to service a plane. Easily handles my E-Flite Timber X and my Hangar 9 10CC Cub securely. The stick on foam protects the plane while in the cradles. I use mine for storing as well.

I like the light weight sturdy construction. I was fortunate enough to receive one which had a grey base and blue uprights, much prefer this over yellow.The stand feels durable and supports the various air frames I need it too. The biggest planes I have had on there to date are the Diamond 2500, a 2.4 meter foam glider and a Super Sky Surfer similar in many ways to the diamond 2500 but with a more stout fuselage. I like the molded compartments below. I constantly lose pieces like small screws and washers for example, because I have a habit of taking out hardware and just setting it on the work surface. I have to retrain myself to utilize the compartments to hold my hardware so as to not lose them in the shuffle. I also like that I can pull up the uprights and the whole thing fits in a bag I bring to the field reasonably well. To date the uprights still fit in the base snugly. This is one of those "why didn't I buy this along time ago" purchases. It makes it so much more enjoyable working on my air frames. No more rolling around and trying to upright an air frame with various objects within reach. One gripe I had initially was that the unit was pretty slippery on my work surface. I have actually come to appreciate this as it make maneuvering the stand and whatever fuselage I'm working on more easily. I'm sure I could affix something with grip to the bottom if need be to prevent it from sliding. Additionally I bought this stand as the idea of a foam stand offered by others did not appeal to me. I may try one in the future though.

I believe this is the best solution to hold my plane. It is light and portable. Quality is very good.

It was smaller than I expected. But it works well for transporting planes in the car. The stand has convenient handles to lift the plane via the stand. Overall very happy with it.

Ligero y resistente, muy práctico tambien para poner las piezas de los aviones, tornillos, llantas etc. tenia en mente construír un soporte de pvc, este es mucho mejor, una chulada para limpiar los aviones después de volar, resistente, puede cargar un avion durante el camino a ir a volar.
