Niacin 100mg

Love this supplement. Be warned, it does cause a flush. I find it feels good but my husband hates it. After the flush i always feel very energized. The flush causes a red rash all over the body for approximately 30 min to an hour. Lots of tingling and even raised bumps. It looks like an allergic reaction but its not. It's perfectly fine. It will pass fairly quickly and it's actually really good for your body.

I never experienced a flush before and had heard good things about it so I decided to try it. I took 4 of them and started to feel the flushing effects. I felt like I had gotten sunburned. My skin was turning red and I was nice and warm. I felt pretty good after. I'd say the effects lasted no longer than 30-40 minutes for me. The stuff works!

Yeah totally works! Even checked my blood work yet but definitely need to after taking these the past year. At first didn’t get used to the flush. The hot prickly sensation that using starts on my head and faces. I kinda like. Hits me different when I mixed other vitamins. Probably better to take it by itself after I eat something then later take my other vitamins and just space then out. But definitely worth it and will buy again

So I have mixed reviews here. While I'm aure that the product itself is quite decent I had a reaction that I now have come to know as "The Niacin Flush". I took a capsule as soon as I got them. I was excited. I had just bought several new supplements and I was eager to try them. Well about 1-1 1/12 hours later I started feeling hot. Ok I need to turn my aor on. A few minutes after that my lips started burning, then my face, and finally my chest and arms are 🔥 burning on fire. I felt as though I was being attacked by fire ants and needles all at the same time and at the rate of the speed of light! I didn't know what was happening. I was waiting for my throat to close. I yell to my husband "something is wrong, I need a doctor stat. My throat never started closing so I calmed down by the slightest bit and began to think " What in the H.E. double hockey sticks is going on? What did i do?" After racking my brain, all the while feeling like I was being microwaved it dawned on me.......could it be the niacin? So I head to my doctor on call...Google...and find out that yes indeed it was the Niacin Flush. Perfectly harmless, so they say. Upon further reading I found that there is a whole slew of folks that LIKE the way it feels. I myself absofrickenlutely am not one of them. So to anyone who is not familiar with this I say..BEWARE.

Excellent product. Because I take 325mg of Aspirin per day - I barely have the Niacin Flush. This is another reason it's beneficial to take aspirin. I take 2,000mg of this Niacin per day 1,000mg in the morning and 1,000mg in the evening. I've ordered twice from this seller and Amazon does an excellent job of shipping fast. Thanks!

I currently take a B vitamin supplement three times a week whose Niacin content is 50 mg. So I thought taking a single Niacin supplement at 100 mg would not prove problematic. And it wasn’t the first day, maybe because I took it after I had eaten most of my lunch. No flush, no problem. Day 2 I forgot and took the pill at the beginning of my lunch, which was really more of a heavy snack (which I do with my other supplements regularly without incident). Bad idea. Within an hour, I was covered in a red, itchy rash, which reminded me of an allergic response I once had to iodine. The rash did not subside for several hours. I even woke up sweating and scratching during the night. I still have the rash in about 20% of my body over 24 hours later. I am reluctant to throw the pills away without trying again by taking with meals. The documented health benefits are very beneficial. If I do so, I will post an update.
