These adapters are great. Small, light, fit snugly into the socket with minial profile out from the wall. I also like that they do not have an LED as even red ones still push out some light at night which might not be ideal for sleeping. I already had 3 of these and I have bought another 6 to be able to leave them in different places (home, office, in-laws' place etc) so i don't have to carry them with me. Highly recommended.

I ordered for my husband for traveling and he is using it now for quite time. The quality is good and working well.

The first picture is misleading. I thought I would get 2 pieces. But I got only one.

I tried it out on a blow dryer, table saw and other power tools. It works flawlessly. It looks as if you can unclip it to remove the safety plate (child protection). The footprint isn't big, but if you use it in a multi outlet extension you can't fit 2 next to each other. You can perhaps file them down on the sides though as it seems to be just plastic and no vital parts on the edge. All of course at your own risk and you should know what you are doing.
