I use just half avocado at a time and this is great for keeping half fresh and in one piece

If you eat avocados on a regular basis but don't always use a whole one every time, you need one of these keepers. I can't believe I went so long without one.

I've had one of these for years. I originally ordered it from Avon and loved it, but it broke after several years, so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. I ordered 2, just in case. It's a very sturdy product, but I have a tendency to drop it a lot, hence the breakage, but that took awhile. I does keep avocados from turning brown, but you have to use them within a couple of days. I always leave the scooped out rind on top of the one that I haven't used and that helps some. It's a good product and I like it!

It’s really cute. Mine closes well. Used it once so far. Put the avocado ( with out) face out. Closed. No plastic wrap. Next day when I open it sadly completely brown.Now I cannot eat an entire avocado ( don’t shame me lol) and typically eat half at a time.And while they’re not cheap I don’t mind losing the tip when I scrap off the brown.I did that this morning. I’ll still use this. Next time I’ll put in fridge.One positive thing. It was great to use as storage while whole cause it was protected.
