Magene Outdoor/Indoor Speed/Cadence Sensor for Cycling, Wireless Bluetooth/Ant+ Bike Computer RPM Sensor for Road Bike or Spinning Bike and Trainers Compatible with Onelap, Wahoo Fitness, Zwift

Bought to pair with my Garmin computer on my new mountain bike. Had some difficulty with installing the speed sensor on the rear hub because my hand couldn't reach in. Figured a way to do it though and it's installed. Cadence was a snap and both paid with Mt Garmin computer and appear to work fine.

I use the Magene speed/cadence and Wahoo heart rate monitor with Cadence App. You can see the speed sensor literally taped to my Spinner front wheel. In the settings of Cadence you can adjust the wheel size for accuracy. I had a analog Cateye on my spin bike for years. The speed and cadence of the Magene sensors essentially mirrors what the Cateye readouts were. I will say the refresh rate is a little slow at times but very functional and accurate in my opinion. I like that there are no more wires on my bike and the functionality of using my phone for the monitor and storing the data from my workouts. If you choose to use Cadance App know this. When you add the sensors they will both show up side by side and you will think your done. You can select one sensor for each "add a sensor" so you must add them both again, select speed on one and cadance on the other and all is good. I find the Magene sensors to be a great value and I get accurate data on how I am performing in my workouts. In the images you will see the installation and the riding screen and the data output.

One of the sensors did not work. I purchased the Magene c606 and was very excited to use the sensors. Speed sensor worked perfectly but unfortunately the cadence sensor never turned on and never synced with the computer. I’m looking for sensor from other company that will work with Magene. NEW UPDATE!!! Company reached out to me and sent me another sensor. I appreciate when companies puts in the effort to correct some issues.

I wanted an inexpensive way to monitor cadence and these Magene sensors did the trick. I had an old Cateye for over 20 years and it finally died. Finding a cadence monitor that does not cost a fortune is apparently a rare item. These sensors worked immediately with the IGPSport BSC100S and I have cadence again. No complaints. I liked the simplicity of wired sensors but I can accept having to replace batteries in the sensors and recharge batteries in the computer.

I purchased the 2-pack and used one for speed and one for cadence. They both worked fine for about 12 months until the cadence sensor quit. It just died. A new battery did not help. I expect simple electronic devices like this to last more than 12 months. I also found it particularly inconvenient to have to remove the battery to switch from speed to cadence. There is no indicator light (even though the instructions mention it) so it is more of a hit or miss kind of thing until you get it right.

I was hesitant about buy this but I have several other items from Magene and all of them works flawlessly, this speed cadence sensor works perfectly! It paired with no issue, you can pair either thru Ant+ or Bluetooth, I used the Ant+ on my Garmin Edge 1030.

Does the job, easy install 🤔 overall and I'm a first time sensor user. Durable, rain, sleet snow, No complaints 🤷🏻‍♂️

These work great, just be careful about using the included rubber bands. They may snap or fall out on you, and you may never notice if you are on a busy road. If zip ties were included alongside the rubber bands, that would be great.

Lo primero que he de comentar es que antes de comprarlos tenía buenas referencias de este producto por compañeros de grupeta y tras cuatro meses de uso puedo decir que ciertamente es un buen producto. La colocación de los 2 sensores resultó sencilla y segura gracias a las bases de goma (una para la biela y otra para el centro del buje) que consiguen un buen apoyo, además las anillas de goma han logrado una buena sujeción. La configuración a sensor de cadencia ó velocidad es sumamente fácil ya que sólo hay que sacar la pila y volverla a introducir para que cambie de un modo a otro. La sincronización con mi ciclocomputador igpsport ha sido rápida. Su funcionamiento es bueno, al inicio tarda un par de segundos en dar señal, luego transmite datos correctos. El único problema que he tenido es que la pila de uno de ellos sólo me duró 20 km, por seguridad cambié las pilas de ambos y tras 4 meses no me ha ocurrido ninguna incidencia más. Conclusión: un buen producto con una relación calidad/precio satisfactoria.

Garminのサイコンに問題なくペアリング出来ます。 アプリGarmin connectにはペアリング出来ませんが、逆に出来ない事で、センサーを付けたまま後輪やディレイラーの調整・メンテナンスでセンサーを付けた車輪を回しても走行距離を記録しないので良いです。 Garmin純正スピードセンサーは、ホイールを回すと、サイコンの電源が入ってなくても、〇〇km走りましたとガーミコネクトに表紙されストレスに感じてました。
