Does this work with the garmin x40 hr?

Hello unfortunately I only have the Vivosmart HR . Your model is clearly an upgrade but for the price of this charger it's worth giving it a try. I will assume that the method for charging is the same but I can't say definitively. Good luck!

Is this charger compatible with Garmin Vivosmar 3 ?

Unfortunately I don't know..I am using it for my Garmin Vivosmart HR. This may be an earlier version of the Vivosmart 3. I can tell you that if the devices are similar in design with the exception of some softwear features it should work..just fine...I find that it is even better than the charger that comes with the phone ..it has a longer cord and is much easier to attach to the device. For the cost it may be a risk you are willing to take..if it doesn't work...send it back..

Does this work with wall outlet?

you have to have the wall adapter and the USB plugs into that - or you can plug it into a computer USB but as it is, it does not have the wall outlet part of the plug included- it is just the cable
