If you are looking for a devotion that helps you unpack God's Word so you can understand and apply it to your life, this is the perfect Bible study. I searched all over Amazon looking at ratings to ensure that my time is well spent on something that is actually good, and this Bible study was surprisingly good. I felt compelled to write a review. It's filled with practical stories, aha moments; and it's broken down into manageable sections to help you grasp what you are reading and reflect on it. It doesn't tell me how to think, rather it encourages my own thinking guided by God's Word. I'm a busy career mom and needed a Bible study I can do bit by bit each morning during my devotion time and this was perfect! It set me up for the day with the right mindset. I highly recommend!

I have done bible studies that focus on the particulars of what the Bible is saying, more so for the time frame. This type is educational but not very relatable. I have also done Bible studies that focus so much on relating to our lives, that the importance of what it’s actually saying is lost. I have to say this study does a phenomenal job at bringing the two together, in a way that we are 100% getting knowledge out of the study, as well as 100% relating to our lives, and 100% understanding the POV of the writer of Ecclesiastes ! I am very impressed with the quality of this Bible study, as well as the importance to slow down and understand each and every verse that’s being studied. I am not the type to leave reviews, but if you are looking for a solid Bible study to get you excited to dive into the Word, I would highly recommend this one! I will definitely be buying more from this Mother-Daughter duo!

Highly recommend this author and her perspective. Enjoyed the Ruth study and would buy and read anything from this author. Will definitely help you understand Gods word and help you grow in your faith

This Bible study book is really wonderful! It starts out with a wonderfully thorough background of the people in the book, and then it takes you through the entire book of Ecclesiastes. It poses really insightful , thought provoking questions and walks you through the book in a very well laid out, and meaningful way. This is by far the best workbook I've ever used and plan to purchase others by this author!

I am really enjoying this study. But, extra verses are interjected to clarify points. And then she refers to a particular verse. I’ve headed off track multiple times (I’m in week 4). She does not refer to which book or chapter!! Frankly, the extra verses referred to, can kinda fit the topic line she’s discussing. Other times, I’m thinking WHAT? It would not take much effort to include the Book and chapter to the verse. And since the scripture is not written in this study, it’s a bit hard to follow. Please understand, I’m not new to Bible study or teaching. 35 plus years of teaching.

I loved this study so much! It is one that helps you truly understand God's word and learn how to apply it to your life. This was my first experience with SOAKing scripture and I love being able to easily look back at Ecclesiastes and see what the Scripture meant and read all of my notes. This is a wonderful book in the Bible, full of so much wisdom and Courtney Joseph and her Mother really help you break it down, verse by verse. Such a blessing and now I am excited to dig into Ruth this fall with their new study!

I did this Bible study right before hurricane Florence wiped out my home. After cleaning up the mess I found this book in a pile of wet trash and it hit me that God was preparing me for what was to come through studying Ecclesiastical and this study. I recommend this book and for everyone to study Ecclesiastes. This study helped make me appreciate Ecclesiastes even more.

I am only in week 2 of this 6-week study, and I absolutely love it. I have always wanted to dig deeper into the Bible, but was unsure of how to go about it. I have tried many different devotionals, and they never seemed to go as deep as I wanted or explain things fully. This is wonderfully written, especially for beginners. It has worksheet-style studies. It talks about the Chapters of Ecclesiastes in detail, but has other verses from the Bible to help you better understand those verses and put them into context. Very impressed with the study, and recommending it to everyone I know! Love it!

I really enjoyed doing this online Bible study with Courtney Joseph. She inspires online with her warmth and beautiful nature. This in depth study of Ecclesiastes has weight with many Bible cross references therefore it is not just for adults, but also teenagers who are confronted with our Modern day Living. Written by a mother and daughter for mothers and daughters.

AS always Beth Moore , is a fantastic writer who helps you dig deeper into the word of God. Stepping up takes a look at the psalms in a totally different way.

Very pleased with this book - I didn't read the product dimensions and I was expecting something A5 size like study notes often are, but this is closer to A4 and more of a workbook, there will be plenty of space to write in notes and the answers to the questions. I considered buying the kindle edition as it's cheaper but I'm glad I didn't now, I will get much more out of this physical book as it's not just for reading! I have completed two of the Good Morning Girls studies already this year and am nearing the end of the Deuteronomy course - obviously those are using the SOAK method whereas this is more in-depth, but I've got to know and appreciate Courtney's teaching style over the studies by following her Monday and Friday blog posts, so I feel confident that I'll get a lot out of this study. I'm looking forward to getting started!

This study guide clearly leads you through Ecclesiastes and has you flipping through your Bible comparing scripture to scripture. A well written guide with plenty of room for writing. Watching Courtney's videos add another well done dimension to the study.
