NO it doesn't float. It will begin slowly sinking right away. The lanyard failed on our and it is now at the bottom of the lake.

My boat has a big sticker running down the side of it, what will the suction do to the sticker?

If your sticker is smooth (i.e. no rips in it) then it should suction just fine. However, if half of the suction cup is on the sticker, and the other half is on the hull then it will not suction properly. The suction cup should not do any damage to the sticker itself.

Is it returnable if it doesn’t fit our boat?

The manufacturer has great customer service and will except the return within 30 days of purchase. Look at the diagram for proper fitment. Fits most boats.

Will this work if you don’t have any ballest?

They work together, each one works to make a better wave.
