Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the American Hard Rock band: Little Cesar (1991) and Influence (1992). with famed A&R man John Kalodner guiding them, Little Caesar appeared to be right on the blocks ready for success, especially when they were hooked up with producer Bob Rock for their debut album, 1990's self-titled record arriving to critical plaudits from reviewers who heard a ballsy, bluesy Hard Rock act in the vein of Bad Company or Humble Pie, whilst the band's well-chosen covers of Aretha Franklin's classic 'Chain of Fools' and the Temptations' 'I Wish It Would Rain' added extra texture to an already well-rounded sound. The equally well-received Influence, another sterling collection of biting Rock and Soul featured ex-Bowie/Dirty White Boy guitarist Earl Slick. Review: Little Ceasar. The real deal - These guys are great. Stumbled across them in Kerrang magazine in the early 90's and have been a devoted fan ever since. Living in Australia, was never lucky enough to see them live, but would love to have. Never understood why they didn't make it big, they had 1/2 a dozen tracks easily good enough, but go figure. Not enough make up or hair spray I suspect. Anyway, if you love heavy, blues based, southern U.S. rock - then Little Ceasar is for you. These two albums, especially self-titled, are a must for any collection that says I love heavy blues. Throw out yr hair band cds - these guys are/were the real deal Review: Great Deal - If you like Little Caesar like me and need both of these CD's...this is the way to go...I sold both of my original versions years ago and now they are OOP and expensive. Truth be told these are not remastered as the other reviewer mentioned but sound every bit as good as the originals and the bottom line is if you need these or want to revisit them as I did...this is the way to go...two albums for the price of one...can beat that deal. Wish Ironbird would do the two Junkyard or the fisrt two Love/Hate CD's as a 2 on 1 as either one or both are OOP and it would be cool to be able to pick them up again at a reasonable price.

Little Ceasar. The real deal

Great Deal
If you like Little Caesar like me and need both of these CD's...this is the way to go...I sold both of my original versions years ago and now they are OOP and expensive. très bon album , je l'avais déjà mais en cassette audio , donc rien à dire de plus , c'est juste histoire de pouvoir continuer à l'écouter

このレコード（CD)は1枚目がBOB ROCKのプロヂュースで レコーディングはカナダ、 マスターはNYCで作られた。 そんな名作に彼等の２ndも一緒に聴けるお得な作品となっている。 元気の良いブギーを聴かせるが 難しいハーモニーも取り入れた演奏はさすが アメリカン・ミュージックだと言えよう。 例えはアメリカでは無いが 世界に目を向けると AC/DCやSCORPIONS好きには堪らない一枚と言えよう。

Ich hatte die Lp " Little Caesar " im Jahr 90 oder 91 gekauft und fand sie ganz gut. Hab das Teil aber verscherbelt. Jetzt 20 Jahre später hab ich mir die doppel CD gekauft und finde die ist Super. Ich war damals wohl nicht soweit aber jetzt kommt das Ding nicht mehr aus dem Player. "Down N Dirty" ist ein Knaller, "Chain of Fools" ist Genial ( wenn auch ein Cover )und "I wish it would Rain" ist ober Genial ( wenns so was gibt )! Jedes Lied ist klasse und es sind keine Ausfälle drauf. "Influence" ist nicht ganz so stark wie "Little Caesar" aber immer noch ein geiles Rock Album. Der erste Song "Stand up" haut mächtig rein, "Slow Ride" ist coolster Blues und "Ridin on" ne starke Ballade. Wie mein Vorredner schon sagte ist es schade das die EP und das Album "This Time its Different" nicht mit veröffentlicht wurden. Mit "Redemption" haben Little Caesar aber 2010 eine sehr starke Scheibe rausgebracht die sich durchaus mit den alten Alben messen kann. Reinhören !

Little Caesar war (und ist wieder) eine der besten Bands die die USA Anfang der 90er hervorbrachte. Erdiger aber melodiöser Rock und ein Sänder mit einer tollen Stimme. Anspieltipps : Chain of Fool , From the Start, Slow Ride, u.v.m.
