Trident Aqua Optics Dive Mask Magnifying Lens Kit Diopter +3.0

Came loose, the adhesive didn’t hold up.

These were a waste of money. They fell out on the first dive. I followed the install directions to the letter and they still fell out. Save your self the aggravation and buy a prescription mask.

I followed advice from another scuba diver and used Loctite Glass Glue for adhesion. They seem perfectly clear out of the water so I expect perfect clarity for macro items during diving.

the adhesive is garbage. i let mine cure for over 2 wks used them 1 time & they came loose in the mask. need to have them installed by dive shop.

We bought 2 sets, one for me and one for the wife. They worked fine for first 3 dives. On our fourth dive I set her mask in the dunk tank and let it sit about 20 minutes, but I pulled it out once lens had detached - water in the dunk tank was warm. The next dive one of my lenses detached during the post dive mask rinse. Same happened to my wife's second lens on dive 6 and my second lens was out on dive 8. So moral to the story is that the glue doesn't hold in warm (85 to 90 degree) water, and don't let you mask sit in the rinse dunk tank or the lenses will detach. Going to try the Loctite Glass Glue for our next outing. Performance of the lens is great as long as you can keep them attached.

Followed instructions to the letter, be ready to keep re-positioning for about 90 min as glue dries. When dry they magnified small print. Chief problem was that on entering the water when snorkeling at Grand Turk, these lenses immediately fogged and nothing would clear them. Luckily one came off on its own, so only had to remove the other.

They were very easy to install. We followed directions to a t. First time use. Water would get underneath so no vision and one fell off. Way to small also.
