I had to change the heating element & anode rod in a RV Suburban water heater. I figured I should flush out any sediment while I was at it. This piece is all plastic. But worked well.

Works as intended spot on

This is something that every RV owner should own and use regularly if they have a hot water heater with a side drain plug. Silt and deposits build up in the bottom of RV hot water tanks, just like the one in your home. This inexpensive tool lets you flush the bottom of the tank to remove those deposits before they can become a problem. I was shocked at how much came out the last time I used it. It’s a cheap solution that can help prevent future problems.

Hooked it up to the hose and worked like a champ. Cleared all the debris from inside of the hot water tank on my travel trailer. This a recommended accessory for a trailer. It’s plastic, so not sure how long it will last. Releases excellent water pressure.

I purchased a used RV so there are always questions about how the previous owner kept up with the maintenance. The hot water flow stopped one day (not that it had been as high as the cold previously). I drained the tank and refilled it and all returned to 'normal'. I figured that there must have been some build up in the tank (6 gal.). So I figured it was time to do a pressure clean out. The wand did an amazing job and flushed out an incredible amount. I kept repeating until nothing but clear water was running out of the drain. I installed an anode and filled the tank. Hot water flow is better than ever. Just remember to turn the 'jet' all directions to loosen all build up. I should have done a video to show all of the debris that came out.

This water heater hose is exactly what I was looking for three help flush me water heater. Works really well and that works for me. Easy to use.

I needed to change the anode rod in my Suburban water heater on my RV. Anode rods are sacrificial devices designed to slowly disintegrate as water is heated over time. This disintegration creates small particles of "metal" that collect in the bottom of the heater tank. When changing the anode, it's best to flush those metal bits out of the tank before installing the new anode. Hence, the purchase. I put the flusher on my garden hose, turned on the spigot and stopped the water flow while walking to the RV. Anode rod out, insert the flushing wand into the tank and release the pressure. The wand CAME OUT OF THE HANDLE AND WAS NOW IN THE TANK! Bad build quality for a $10-$15 plastic nozzle. I was able to fish the wand out of the tank using forceps. I had to put my own hose clamp on the handle to repair it. Once repaired, the wand does what it is supposed to do. Amazing how much detritus metal came out of that tank. It's something I'll use whenever I change the anode rod. I was lucky to be able to get the wand out of the tank. If it had gotten crooked, I'm not sure I could have fished it out looking through a 3/4 hole into a very dark place. It works but Camco needs to ensure the QC on their tools is improved.

Works great. Used it a couple of times and it really cleans the crud out of the HW tank on the motorhome.

J’ai utilisé ma hose à jardin de 5 à 6 fois rempli puis flusher afin de nettoyé mon réservoir à eau chaude de mon VR après la 6 fois l’eau sortais clair. Le lendemain j’ai reçu le Tank Rinsed je voulais l’essayer.. OMG!!!😧 ça sortie plein de résidus et l’eau était noir… Là, je peux dire que mon réservoir est clean!!! Outil indispensable pour son VR. J’ai reçu le Tank Rinser endommagé mais bon j’ai mit du tape à l’endroit, part prévention. Il ne coule pas pour le moment mais à ce prix j’aurais préféré qu’il ne soit pas endommagé. _______________________________________ I used my garden hose 5 to 6 times to rinse & clean my hot water tank of my RV. After the 6ieme time the water was clean cristal clean. The next day my Tank Riser arrived, I wanted to test it out. Even if I had cleaned and the water was nice and clear. OMG!!! 😧 the water was still coming out black with all kind of residue… Now!!! It clean my hot water tank after using Tank Rinser. Disappointed that I received the Tank Rinser damage… I had some tape by precautions even if it’s not dripping for the moment. At that price, I would have like to received it “Not Damage”…
