Solid Performance, Reliable Cooling, Killer Value
TL;DR: Noctua NT-H2 delivers impressive cooling performance at a price that undercuts the competition. The included cleaning wipes are a nice touch, and it's non-conductive, giving peace of mind. It shaved off 4-6ยฐC compared to previous thermal pastes, making it a smart choice for demanding CPUs and GPUs. Highly recommended for anyone wanting better cooling without emptying their wallet. Full Review: The Noctua NT-H2 3.5g thermal paste comes with three large cleaning wipes, which is awesome. You get plenty of paste โ enough for multiple applications. Honestly, I was hoping for something effective, and its performance is surprising given the price. The paste itself looks like your typical silver compound. It's non-conductive, which is great because I don't have to worry about accidental spills frying my components, especially with some of the heat spreader designs out there. Plus, it doesn't require any โcureโ time. I just applied it, mounted the cooler, and was good to go. Instant results are my kind of thing. I saw a significant temperature drop โ around 4-6ยฐC โ compared to other pastes I've used. I push my hardware hard, especially my array of modded Quadro RTX GPUs. They tend to run hot even with proper airflow. The temperature drop was consistent across all the GPUs I re-pasted, which was a huge relief. It performs nearly as well as Kryonaut. Maybe Kryonaut *might* have an edge of 1ยฐC or two under extreme load, but the cost difference makes Noctua the smarter choice for me. Basically, the Noctua NT-H2 is a fantastic performer that won't break the bank. You get more paste and the cleaning wipes, all for less than a smaller tube of Kryonaut. Unless you need liquid metal, this is easily the best deal I've found. I'm definitely sticking with this stuff. --- Product: Noctua NT-H2 3.5g, Thermal Computer Paste incl. 3 Cleaning Wipes ASIN: B07MZ45X9G

Does the job with nice bonus!
Excellent stuff! Keeps thermals in check and the complimentary wipes are a nice bonus. Pretty sweet if you ever find yourself short of propyl alcohol to clean off the old paste. Ive already gone through a full tube!

Just about as good as thermal paste gets
High quality thermal paste, and just about as good as thermal paste gets before you use liquid metal. Especially for laptops where even the slightest drop in temperature matters alot. The application is simple and even includes their own removal wipes. The heat transfer is amazing.

Very high quality in every aspect
A product-improved version of the NT-H1. Easy to apply, easy to remove, non-conductive, and very high performance. This is up there with Grizzly Kryonaut and Gelid GC-Extreme in testing. To get anything measurably better you would need to go with conductive liquid metal thermal mediums like Conductonaut. Those are much higher risk of failure and much more difficult to work with, not worth it in anything beyond extreme overclocking applications. Can't give a temp comparison because I didn't use the stuff they sent with my Contac Silent 12 heatsink, immediately cleaned and applied the NT-H2 to it. Under a 20min stress test it never went above 70c with default fan curve, impressive for a quiet heatsink meant to keep decibels low more than keeping temps down while gaming. Packaging is very nice, you have the option of buying the larger 10g tube slightly cheaper per gram if you plan on building a few more systems or doing GPU's, the wipes are convenient (not collectibles, go ahead and use them guilt-free) and even the common complaint about price on Noctua products is not really valid. This stuff costs the same as Arctic MX-4 at the moment just under $13 for a 3.5g tube, Grizzly Kryonaut costs under $10 for a 1g tube and Gelid GC-Extreme at $14.52 for a 3.5g tube. All of these products are likely going to be within 1 degree C of the other according to multiple comparison reviews and that is within the margin of error in both measurement and user application. I added everything up and the NT-H2 came out on top as a choice for me. It's just a good deal without sacrificing any quality for your build. Highly recommended for the combination of high performance, reasonable pricing, extras in the package and ease of use. The fact it is Noctua also adds a little of that "cool factor" for anyone who tingles when they hear that brand name.

Thermal paste
Can put a bit more paste in the tub for the size and preformed well in cooling and lower my fan speed and noise even when turning on my laptop or desktop it sound like it was not even on

Great paste for CPUs and lower power GPU direct die, not the best for high power GPUs
Works as expected, same temps as other well known thermal pastes currently. This is super easy to spread but is also super goopy and will leave streamers all over if you are sloppy when applying this. For me unfortunately this pumped out rather quickly in about 1 week or less on my RTX 2080Ti XC Hybid. I think this is best for CPUs or lower power GPUs since I used the entire tube in less than 1 month constantly reapplying this to my GPU due to pump out. I ended up using Heilos V2 by Thermalright and so far that has not pumped out. Even though this didn't work for my GPU this should work well on CPUs with an IHS cover. Like I said, if you have a powerful GPU this may not work direct die for you. The wipes work very well and are nice to have when you don't have any rubbing alcohol left. The paste seems genuine and I have no issues purchasing this here again. This is a reasonable price compared to the amount of paste you get and compared to the competition. Noctua has never done me wrong and this continues that trend.

This is good thermal paste, but much cheaper options are available.
This is one of the best performing thermal pastes you can buy, without resorting to riskier "liquid metal" thermal pastes. However, it is much more expensive compared to some other pastes you can get, like GD-900. GD-900 performs almost as well as this paste, only lagging behind by a few degrees. But if you have a very hot running laptop, like my RAZER Blade Advanced 2018... this paste may be worth the extra cost. For other systems that tend to run cooler, GD-900 may work well enough, and costs much less... or is available in a much larger amount at the same price as you would pay for this syringe of Noctua. "Liquid Metal" pastes are generally the best of the best when it comes to thermal performance, but they are usually conductive and can destroy your PC if not properly applied. Conformal coatings are generally recommended for use with "Liquid Metal" pastes to help prevent shorts occurring from leakages... which it not an issue with PTM7950 or conventional pastes. PTM7950 thermal pads perform very well, but if you don't have enough mounting pressure (which can be a problem for some laptops) then it may not work well. PTM7950 is also a bit harder to find legitimate versions of (as some sellers sell knockoffs that don't work well), and it's harder to install. Once you apply it, you generally don't need to replace it. Conventional thermal pastes like this Noctua one have the benefit of being non-conductive and easy to install. The biggest con of conventional pastes is that they can dry out and stop working as well, eventually needing to be replaced. Lower quality pastes can dry out faster or have worse thermal performance.

My Go-to
I am no expert in comparing thermal paste - so this isn't really a technical review per se, but I've used this stuff before, years ago, and it never failed me. Noctua is a reliable brand that I trust, even if I had to pay a few more bucks for it. So when I ever need thermal paste, whether its for myself or a friend, I will always pick this one. Pros: - Reliable brand - Works as intended - Multiple uses out of it - Cleaning wipes are nice Cons: - A little more pricey than other alternatives Conclusion: If you need thermal paste, just get this one.
