Sardines in Water

An ok food item . Like alot of people, I feed them to my doggie too. He loves some of this tuna and sardines...even if it has no discernible flavor to me. Americans are not big on sardines but I've always eaten them. And get all my vitamins included. That's probably the only reason to it them! Omega 3 and 6 improve brain function and processes.

I recently ordered the Beach Cliff Sardines in Water, 3.75 oz Can (Pack of 12), and I’m absolutely thrilled with this purchase! Nutrition-wise, these are a win. With 12g of protein per serving, they’re a great way to fuel up, especially since I’ve been trying to stick to a keto-friendly diet. They’re also gluten-free, which is a bonus for anyone with dietary restrictions. I feel good knowing they’re wild-caught too—quality matters, and these deliver. The packaging is super convenient. The 3.75 oz cans are just the right size for a single serving, and the pack of 12 means I’m stocked up for weeks. Dry high quality taste, I eat them right out of the can sometimes! Best recipe is a citrus cucumber and chick pea salad I found in the review videos. It’s not a measuring recipe - it’s a dump and eat recipe so no need to take notes!

Nice if you like consistently smaller sardines and refined salt. For me I had to let go of this otherwise descent sardine, because sea salt is the only one that doesn't raise my blood pressure and leave me feeling like garbage. Hope that becomes an option like with other brands.

Once again, lesson re-learned: You get what you pay for. Or in this case, you pay for sardines, but you don't even get "Sprats." First of all, this is absolute false advertising as these are not Sardines, but as the ingredients in the fine print on the can say, they are Sprats. Sprats are a different species and are smaller and mushier than sardines. The Sprats come out of the can more like chum... primarily mushy broken bits of fish and who knows what else. Fortunately, I love pretty much any kind of seafood that you put in front of me, so I'm pouring it into a bowl and treating it a bit like a fishy stew thing. However, if you are not a fan of sardines, or you don't like very fishy mushy tasting seafood, or you are trying out what you thought were sardines for the first time, these would be the last can of a fishy concoction that I would recommend you order. The other thing I noticed is that the cholesterol, when accounted for equal weight, is about three times higher than Wild Planet sardines. This is likely due to the inferior type of fish product that Beach Cliff is harvesting... or, they're just making up the numbers as they go along. If I was looking for a fishy mushy mix to add to my dogs kibble, or if I was out chumming for larger fish, this stuff would be ideal. But I will never purchase this fish mush again.

I was hoping to like these because my regular brand is not available at this time, however, I was disappointed. The price was okay, the sardines were in many pieces and not one was a filet, they were very soft...much more mushy than I am used to eating...and quite a lot of water. I doubt I will buy these again...but if they are the only ones available, I might.

I researched how I could relieve my cats dry itchy skin and they recommended sardines packed in water with no added salt. My cat starting in the autumn time begins to lick herself bald In spots,also she demands that I scratch her spots with my nails. I found this brand on Amazon and it came the same day that I ordered it which was cool because I wanted to help our itchy little cat as soon as possible. I am happy to report that our cat Bree already seems to be more comfortable in her skin, she is asking to be scratched way less and her overgrooming is calming down. I whish that I had researched this last year, it's only been a couple of days and I already see improvement in our cat Brees behavior. If your cat has these issues I recommend that you do some research about your cats health. This brand is human grade and a nice quality, I keep it in a container in the refrigerator and I mix it in with wet food and a little water added, my cat loves it. Beach Cliff sardines is a nice quality good for you and your cat, just look up the health benefits for your cat and you will want to get it for them as well as yourself. This packed in water, no added salt is good for you and your cat too. It's been two weeks of feeding these sardines to our cat and my husband and the improvements are huge. Numbers one my husband likes a bite on a cracker, but the cat is vastly improved. She is now good in her skin ,her demeanor is calm she is not licking bald spots in her fur and in fact her bald spots are growing the fur back. Her attitude is becoming more loving and affectionate with us. I whish that I had found out about this treatment for her years ago.
