Rani Black Salt

This is the most horrible black salt I have ever bought and I have bought different brands from Amazon over the years. Smells like a dead rat right out of the bag even before you use it. Nothing like the typical sulfur smell of black salt. Couldn't possibly put such foul smelling thing in my food and couldn't return. So to the dust bin it went. Terrible packaging as it spilled all over the other items it came with and the color doesn't even look remotely like black salt as it was all grey white while black salt is supposed to be pinkish. Please save yourself this most unpleasant experience. I would give it zero star if I could. Total waste of money.

As with other reviewers, the original packaging was delivered to me open and unsealed. Salt powder poured out all over the place. The rest of the five pounds of salt can't be trusted for consumption due to possible contamination and the product cannot be returned. This is not an issue of damage caused during delivery. The food package itself is not sealed adequately because the cheap glue or plastic in the original seal failed.

The package was open when delivers. The powdered salt was clumpy. Would recommend this product.
