The best guitar wiring kit out there
This kit is an excellent value. The wire stripper is worthless, but everything else is great. Nice and flexible, soft and heat resistant silicone insulation is just what I wanted. I measured the stripped wire and it actually is 22 AWG. I also tested the wire, and it really seems to be tinned copper. I'm not a chemist or metallurgist. From the tests I performed, it really seems to be copper wire and not stainless or aluminum. I personally had no problem soldering this wire either. It solders well; fast and easy. High quality, especially considering the price. I work on R/C aircraft, and this is great wire for that application as well. I cannot recommend this kit enough!!!

Jacket does not melt!
I got this to wire electric guitars with and it works great. My first wiring job I used some speaker wire that I already had and the jackets would melt if I wasn’t careful. The wires were also much bigger than what is needed. After some research I decided to get this and see if it was better and it is. My joints are much cleaner and the wires are much smaller so they will fit into the cavities of the body much easier. I also like that I can use different colors for different parts of the circuit. Orange for tone pots, green for signal from volume to output jack, yellow output from switch to volume, and black for all the grounds. The silicone jacket doesn’t even discolor if you touch it with the soldering iron and I am getting great results that look as good as anything I have seen. I am very pleased with this purchase and I will continue to use this in my future projects

Good For Running / Repairing Backup Transducer Sensors and Backup Display
Overall, this is excellent for running small control wires / extending length of a product that is too short. [note, I used the 24 gauge wires; these are thin and perfect for control trigger wires with low current] I had bought backup parking kit for a vehicle; three of the ultrasonic sensors were too short (one in the back, two up front - we had an "8 sensor parking kit"); in addition, the display which mounts above the rear view mirror was too short. I spliced the transducer wires and successfully extended the backup sensors approximately 4 feet. (backup sensors are miniature coaxial cables; you can "gather" (i.e. twist) the shielding and connect to one wire; then splice the middle coaxial wire to a second wire - use these two wire to extend the length till it reaches your desired location, than repeat the process to rejoin to the other end you had cut off). Note, use heat shrink solder butt connectors with a head gun to reattach wires. Same process for extending most sensors or wires.

Everything you need
All of the wire you need in a convenient box that allows you to pull wire out without removing the spool. Also includes a wire stripper and some shrink shields. Neat.
