Knowledge Encyclopedia Space!: The Universe as You've Never Seen it Before

Damaged book but great book would like a replacement they say its a kids book but most adults wont know any of this stuff, if your into space this is a great book to introduce the basics and lots more , great pics good detail but iv seen alot of them come damaged .

Absolutely stunning! The visuals are breathtaking and the facts are presented in a way that's both exciting and easy to understand. My kids couldn’t put it down—and I loved it too! Perfect for curious minds of all ages.

I purchased this book for my niece along with a telescope for Christmas. She is 7 years old. She specifically called me to tell me that she "LOVES" the book. That is not something you hear from 7 year olds so I was extremely pleased. My sister tells me that my niece only needs help with a few words but wont put the book down and has been reading it constantly since Christmas (three days ago). its been snowing so no telescope set up yet, but my niece even read some of the book to me and I couldn't have been happier. I purchased this book because the pictures where outstanding and I wanted something that was visually pleasing as well as educational for my niece. I will be purchasing several other Smithsonian books like this for her. Outstanding book - worth every penny.

My son is obsessed with this book. Anytime he wants to know something about space, he comes and read this book. It's very knowledgeable. Great for kids of all ages

This is a fantastic book to have on your kids’ bookshelf! My kids absolutely love it and get so excited when they read it. They enjoy pronouncing the challenging science terms and often compete with each other. I keep it on their nightstand, and sometimes they try to rush through the Bible just to get to this book. So, I’ve started switching things up and having them read this book first. The last thing I want is for them to overlook the Bible for the sake of science! We want both—because in truth, they complement each other. As they read this book, they can marvel at God's creation and appreciate how much more humanity has yet to discover.

Great book. Usually read these books in three phases. First the highlights and interesting pictures. Then on to my favorite parts. Then I read it from cover to cover. Good so far. On phase two. Only problem is the grand daughter thinks it is a coloring book. I have purchased numerous DK books in the past and they are built to last. I did find that this book on the universe is not as long as most DK books that I buy. I would recommend this book.

Very detailed and informative info on all things space, including a very nice / handy reference section on planets, comets, meteor showers, etc. I really do love how DK books present things and am happy that even though I own several of their books (encyclopedias, pictorialpedias, and space/universe books), they seem to do a very nice job of not repeating the same feel or photos or diagrams and the whole format and info presentation is still fresh and new.

Love this book. The whole series are excellent and this is no exception. Well written, excellent pictures and diagrams. Interesting, educational but also presented in an engaging way.

Molto al di sopra delle aspettative. Bellissime illustrazioni e argomenti molto ben spiegati. Strutturato molto bene e tante pagine. Sembra una mini enciclopedia. Mia figlia di 9 anni lo ha adorato!

Amazing book! My kid wanted a space encyclopedia and this one exceeded expectations!

Great book with lots of details. I bought it for my son who has a big interest in anything space related. Whenever he hears something new he just runs for that book. As all DK books the images are gorgeous and explanations very well written.
