The Best book written by Indian writer for Indian Conditions.Strongly recommended for Beginners.This is after my experience having spent 2 months completely on Gardening with 3/4 hrs per day.its of just Rs 142/-

This is a good book for beginners.

"Teach Yourself Gardening" by Pramila Mehra (New Edition, Fully Illustrated) was an incredibly disappointing experience. This is neither a scholarly work nor written by someone with a deep or practical understanding of plants or gardening. The content lacks clarity and depth. The illustrations, which are supposedly a key feature in this edition, are poorly executed and more confusing than helpful—they add no real value to the text. The overall tone of the book feels shoddy and hastily compiled, with a narrative that is unrefined and unengaging. If you're genuinely looking to build gardening skills or deepen your knowledge, this book will leave you frustrated. In today’s world, there are plenty of excellent resources—both in print and online—that explain gardening techniques far better, with accurate, visually clear guides and expert advice. Even a quick Google search is more helpful than this book. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t allow returns on books and there was no preview available, which made this an even more regrettable purchase. This was a terrible decision on my part, and I hope others will steer clear unless you're just looking to fill shelf space with something flashy but hollow.

I was looking out for such kind of book n finally I got it. A very very excellent book n very deep n thoroughly explained about each n every plant.

The book offers you a elaborate reading, informative, good edit and quick helpful to pass time during the lockdown for all ages..... a must buy....
