Idk why it says it's for welding, it is not. I plan on using it for fitting, plasma nd torch cutting and probably brasing. Stay safe peeps

works good for plasma cutting. the sheld comes apart really easy when going up and down.

Tried to return it once, they sent another. Don't want it, not good for welding, not dark enough. Stay away from this product if you want to welding with it, look for another.

It will do the job but its a bit frustrating to get together and the instructions are in another language. Does not feel very robust

No assembly instructions in English provided. The hardware securing the left side of the shield head band does not interlock securely with the face shield frame. The shaded screen is very, very, very-poorly connected to the frame. Only held on by (2) sort-of melted tabs that also hold on the name plate. I intend to more-securely attached with bolts and nuts. Or the shaded screen will break off due to flipping up the shaded screen while using. Was tempted to just return. But will try to live with it - given the price was right. As always, you get what you pay for.

Poor quality control in molding the face shield leaves a noticeably distorted view when I looked through it, and adjusting the position and/or angle didn't help. After reading other reviews, I wouldn't have bought this face shield for welding use, but bought this for a somewhat unusual purpose. Due to an accident and resulting injury to parts of my brain, I'm extremely sensitive to bright light, so I bought this to reduce problems when driving in bright sunlit conditions. (I already wear dark sunglasses and dark wrap-around safety glasses over those, but full sunlight is still too bright.) While I didn't buy this for welding; I have done some welding and have to agree with other reviewers, that it's not NEARLY dark enough for any sort of arc welding - though it may (or may not?) be dark enough for use if you're only going to be doing oxy-acetylene welding. Even then, I'd still pass this one up. Looking through this visor for just a few minutes gave me a serious headache from the distortions in the view. (Thinking that my unusual use for long distance viewing may have multiplied the distortion problem, I tried it on again before writing this review - this time indoors and looking at things at a distance that would be used for welding, but the distortion didn't get noticeably better.) Also as another reviewer mentioned, the mechanism connecting the visor to the headgear was complicated and not easy to assemble without a diagram for reference. I'm glad I left one of them still put together as a reference while I took the other one apart to reassemble and connect the face piece to the head gear!

Good product, haven't tried it yet but good quality materiel and the extra vision 180 degree is very handy.... The shade is also very appropriate compare to others wich are darker and difficult the see when working.

Poor quality, falling apart.
