I put it in a glass jar ( any empty jars) and take it to the trash company dump site appropriate for chemicals and paints.

Is this the terrible milky gel like stuff that is supposed to be a "green" product, or is it really mineral spirits?

No it not the green stuff. It’s really mineral spirits. There is a slight odor but only slight.

Will this remove oil paint from a piano? I’m trying to find a way to get it off before my husband sees the paint!

It should but might damage the finish so try it on an area that can not be seen
