I put this on my kayak. It made my kayak a little bit higher and a little bit more unstable, but it worked perfectly for what I wanted to do. I needed a back rest. I tied it to my kayak and it worked perfect.

Firm cushion, hopefully makes it last a long time. Appears to be ok construction. Im might add extra staples or washers with screws to make sure the vinyl material stays secured to the base where its attached
