Pestered by strat cats using our garden as a loo ... sprinkled this around - together with another product - and no further fouling since! It actually smells quite nice to me, but obviously the local strays think otherwise ... it is a good product.

Effective and seemed to work.
This was very effective and seemed to keep the cats away from our lawn but the minute it wore off the cats were back and pooing on our lawns. States it only lasts 48 hours which is great for very small areas but we need a very large amount for the area we need to cover which would be expensive.

Useless!!
Brought this to keep my puppy off the clematis & a few plants ,he actually liked it !!! This product didn't make any difference to the survival of my plants, absolutely useless, waste of money !!!

Bee Repellent also?
I planted runner beans yesterday and do find evidence of cats having used my garden as a lavatory on occasion, especially newly dug places. Therefore I looked for a deterrent, it arrived promptly and hope it will deter visiting cats. It certainly smells very strongly of garlic, so should work for any visiting vampires as well as, hopefully, the moggies. Before application I was rejoicing in the lovely peaceful sound of bees working through a bed of nasturtiums, but on application of the cat deterrent it was rather like instant "SILENT SPRING" - the bees vanished immediately. Guess they don't like the smell. I am trying to encourage bees with my planting and was so pleased to have so many working away gathering nectar. Does anyone know if this bee-deterrent effect is a lasting one, and if so I will be packaging up the rest of the container and returning it. I avoided the electronic cat deterrents on rationale that they might deter pollinators as well as the cats - and the nasty barbed sort are horrible and cruel.

This product works well, kept cats off my flowerbed under our sitting room window. Cats were relieving themselves copiously, the smell was awful, could not have the window open. Can recommend.
