Not sure, you will have to go to their (Hiflofilters) website and cross reference. What i do know is that it is a good filter and they make the K&N filter line as well.

Because the seller simply made a mistake. There are Absolutely no batteries required for motorcycle oil filters. FULL STOP! Regarding this seller, Two things come to mind. 1. The mistake is a simple clerical error where the seller, sells many items, and likely uses the process of "cut and paste" in the description of items, to speed the process of listing multiple, if not hundreds of items. - Whoops. No big deal. 2. The seller simply has no idea what an oil filter is, how it works, or what it's for... Best advice I can offer? Until this seller can list an item properly - aka inspire a potential buyer to do so with confidence.... Go purchase from a different seller.
